"...there's a lot of football yet to be played."

Those were Butch's words following USCe, probably the worst loss of our decade of mediocrity. Well, as is often the case w/ Butch, these ended up just being another meaningless phrase in the year in which it was supposed to all come together.

Anyone who believes this season is anything other than a total failure is delusional. We couldn't even win the SEC East when it's at its worst in a generation, perhaps ever.

Now, much of our talent (those who haven't already left) will be moving on, & Jones has a stable of 3*'s replacing them. This was the year & he blew it by not having his team ready to play a truly awful USCe team with two weeks to prepare.

Time to rip off the band aid, move on, & hire Kiffin. And no, I'm not kidding.

You were ok with your mindless beaching and I was somewhat agreeing with you.
But you lost all credibility at Kiffen.

You're really trying to say the loss to South Carolina is worse than the loss to Wyoming? A bit emotional Ehh..? Lol.

Maybe in the end of Dooley era. But Butch has no Kiffin recruits, has 1-3 Dooley recruits. Can't blame Lane for the crap sandwich these last two seasons have been.

LSU is going to hire him, and "mark my words" he beats Lyle in Neyland next year.

How well did Kiffy do at USC?
How many SEC championships did he win for us?
He couldn't even beat VT.

Your stupid is showing CA. In no universe is losing to USC the worst loss in our dark times, losing to a wr turned qb UK team led by Joker is easily worse than that. The reality is we have a good shot at our first 10 win season in a long time and thats progress. CBJ isn't going anywhere right now so lets see what changes are made in the offseason and cheer like hell for the little bit of football thats left. While it sucks we're not going to Atl, it also won't be us getting massacred there and potentially having more injuries before the bowl game. Chill out drama queens.

That KY game cost us a crappy bowl game. USCe loss cost us a division championship. USCe was a more meaningful loss, bud

Losing to a 17 year old high school QB is much worse than losing to UK. That lost to U.K. costed us a Liberty Bowl invite. This loss costed us a division title and a chance to play in to the playoff. SC was definitely a worse loss. UK was only bad because of the streak.

It amazes me how people don't understand this...
