What you need to realize is Deboring is running Butch's offense.. For a 'real' OC hire to be the solution, Butch would need to give him 'free reign' to install and run his own offense... I just don't see Butch letting go of that..

I am sick of the team. We really suck. Butch needs to do something different. I am no coach just a fan but damn. Next week will be bad

Careful Carl you are going to hurt my feelings. I don't doubt that Butch wants to win, but I do question whether or not his offense is capable of doing so. I do question whether or not his coaching hires and retention are based on what is best for the team as opposed to employing his friends.

I hate to be negative with a 3-0 team but our "body of work and sense of urgency" looks like poo.

It really seems like CBJ is losing the team.

However, if we find a way to beat Florida then all is good... Until the Ga, AL, and mizz... Well hell I guess Kentucky abd Vanderbilt will be struggles as well.

Hell on the bright side he has not wasted anyone's time with garbage play. Nobody had had to endure watching backups in the 3rd quarter.

I said after the Appy game that I thought Butch could end up as our version of Ron Zook. Nothing I saw today has changed that trajectory for me. Butch has a lot of strengths as a coach, but his deficiencies are being exposed. The next 4 games will make or break Butch Jones at Tennessee, IMO.

Out of the next 4 games we may beat UGA if we get a few brakes. That's not a sure thing at this point. We had some injuries today that's going to be hard to cover. Just my opinion.

With the condition of the east, Tennessee should only lose to maybe bama and then bama again in SEC championship game. With the talent Tennessee has this should be what should happen. Now...a loss to bama and say aTm, ok I guess I could deal with it. But another loss to UF and a first year HC in UGA, USC, MU, ???? Not acceptable.
