Butch looks uninterested/disengaged lately

Has anyone else picked up on this vibe during his press conference ? In last 2-3 weeks his intensity has been down. Looks a lot uninterested and lot less angry at press. Even when his team was winning early on, he had that intensity.
Is it that with losses, he has come to terms with a 9-3 season ? Or does anyone else have a feeling that Butch will be looking elsehwere after this season ?
If he goes 9-3 & gets to SEC CG , a lot of teams would be happy to get pick him up. There are a lot of 10-win happy good programs out there. Miami picked Mark Richt to get back to 10 wins.
I can see few programs shuffling coaches and Butch ending up at a ACC or Big 12 type programs.

Officially the most non-sensical thing I've heard all day... surely you had something better you coulda done with your time ...

We need a thread for this?
Already have several threads, including a media thread today. Good grief.

Both Offensive and Defensive Lines have looked this way the entire Season (Sans Barnett)

Smarter than Dobbs? I find that hard to believe. Dobbs is one of the smartest college football players out there. Dobbs is also a pretty darn good runner as well. If JG is a better runner then that's amazing.

I think Dobbs' intelligence had been a double edged sword. He seriously could be the smartest person to ever play at UT. At the same time, his best football is when he improvises and doesn't think.

How about we stop palpitating over Butch's demeanor. I don't care if he's angry ... or laughing ... or quiet ... or intense ... or relaxed. Folks have commented on all these Butch moods in the past several weeks. But why?

I'm not a teenage girl, and he's not the Beetles. So I don't care how the man looks, or how his moods swing, as long as he's upholding the integrity of our program, caring for the well-being of our players and the university as a whole, and doing his level best to win games and championships.

Its official JP. They done gone lost they datgum mines.

With this logic, Bill Belichick has wanted to be out of New England for 10+ years now.

Butch is tired of not being appreciated---he may be looking around for bigger jobs paying more money.

What's frustrating to me is I basically have to live my life on this site and lost an unrealistic amount for someone that works as much as I do in order to be able to post stuff like this.

Yes, he seems different and it could me a lot of things that just might be POSITIVE.

A lot of people want the job until they have it. The pressure to win is unrelenting at this level. Urban Meyer fell victim to it at Florida. It's a viscous cycle. The more you win, the more they expect you to win. Butch has made plenty of money here and could make less, but still more than enough, at most any mid-major school with less stress. I could see him in the near future, not necessarily this season, walking away to go to some place that isn't used to winning like Washington St. or Utah st. He makes over $10k a day right now. He's swimming in money. He could make $1M a year at a smaller school and still die a happy man.

It's been hectic year. But if he doesn't want to be here, then bye... It was a really dark time between Phil's last and Butch's first year, I'm appreciative of Butch's job and that we have a chance to have 10 wins. It's been a while.

And who wants a ridiculous, goofy, angry, red-faced coach during a press conference? Poise shows that he's not panicking. Panic isn't good. Frustration is even worse. Poise shows comfort.

Yet here you are still posting.

Haha, yeah. Butch gets paid $4M a year, so he has to show up for the interviews. Wonder what keeps this guy coming back...it sure ain't the pay, Freak is lousy at paying us. :)

Let's see, depleted Defense, SEC Champ still possible with a UF loss, got to Mizz to continue the hope, got to fill huge holes on the defense line, and turns purple on the sidelines every game. Yea sure, I can see how he would lose interest.
