Josh Dobbs pulled B..ch's ass out of a losing fire a ton of times.Just think of the possible scenarios of games that the vols would have won if a Dobbs had been in place instead of JG?Even this year alone?Anywhere from 6-4 to 8-2 to 9-1. If I only had a dime!

Butch Jones. His last year head was brutal and it could have been is pulling the trigger too fast. He is and was a better head coach than Pruitt and if we aren’t going to do anything I would’ve been fine to stay with Butch as this **** show.

Let’s see. Who sucks harder? Pruitt, Jones, or Dooley?

I’ll offer their SEC records as a metric to compare these Goobers:
Dooley 5-19 .208 **
Jones 14-26 .350 **
Pruitt 10-16 .385
** I arbitrarily charged the interim coached games to Dooley and Jones. I doubt the game outcomes would be any different if Dooley and Jones had stayed to coach the final games in the seasons when they were canned.

I think SEC records are the best metric to measure these coaches. It’s not the only metric, of course. It doesn’t include the egg Pruitt laid against GA State, Jones’ bowl wins, or the highlight of Dooley ball when we beat NC State in the Kickoff Classic and Dooley wore the leather helmet.

Important: The SEC records show the trend is gradually improving from Dooley to Jones to Pruitt. Not gonna do the math, but eyeballing the trend indicates that we should be SEC juggernauts in maybe 30 years! So, let’s keep pushing for improvements in medicine, and diet well, and exercise, and hopefully we’re all here to see that juggernaut!!! Can I get an Amen? Anyone?

While I certainly didn't like Butch's last season, Butch's teams were generally much better than Pruitt's teams. At least Butch's teams were competitive with our rivals most years. That being said, I don't want him back.

On the other hand, Butch Jones wasn't competent enough to make Alvin Kamara the starter over Jalen Hurd, which is total coaching malpractice.

The program is at a all-time low as of today. Even worse that Dooley’s and Butch’s last years. How that translates to coaching performance, IDK.

Kamara had plenty of touches. Hurd was an excellent player and was already the established starter before Kamara arrived at UT.

Didnt he lose all 8 SEC games to get fired?? Pruitt just had an all SEC schedule with 5 top 10 teams on it and still won 3 games. Botch woulda went 0-10. Yal know damn well half of his team woulda been on IR by the 3rd quater of game 2. Botch owes half his check to Dobbs and the other half to Pruitt for leaving him JG and all those glass players

LOL! I always appreciate a constructive correction, but what are you talking about here? The head coaching tenures of Butch Jones and Jeremy Pruitt are indeed "mutually exclusive" of each other: They did not occur simultaneously, under the same conditions - with the same players and against the same competition.

MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE: refers to the relationship between two or more events that cannot occur at the same time.

And both UGA and the 'turds are MUCH, MUCH better the last 2 years than they ever were when 'ol Butchee was here.
Like you said...Pruitt didn't have Dobbs, either. I'd guarantee you CJP would have at least 5 more wins under his belt over the last 2 seasons if he would've had Dobbs.

Don't forget that the Bandleader went 0-8 in the SEC without Dobbs for his QB....

That man beat fla and uga but they both sucked those years. UGA wasnt were it is right now neither was Fla thats why they replaced the coaches. In fact Botch lost to Fla when we were the better team or are we gonna just forget the hail mary and 4th & 13 smh
