No it would take at least 3 coaches looking at the better OL but deciding to play the interior one. There is zero upside to that choice yet it's a myth that gets thrown around way too often.

No one here is watching game film either

True.. I just know when Jack Jones played good things happened on the right side

Pick one:

Kiffen, Dooley, Jones

Let's see where we are after the Florida game.

Our OLine needs to improve drastically.

If he wasn't such an idiot, it would be Kiffin by a mile.. Aggressive on offense and smart enough to leave the defense to those that know it.

It's just that he is a dbag that blew his opportunities when he's the head guy.

My goodness, we got the dumbest fans in America. No wonder other opposing fans doesn't take us seriously. Absolutely embarrassing.

Don't know that I necessarily agree with the Kiffin assessment, but the aggressiveness point cannot be overstated. We now have a defensive coach who goes for the jugular. Jones has always played so conservatively (with a lead, scared) on offense when it matters. I don't know that he can change that instinct. Some coaches are instinctively aggressive (Spurrier comes to mind). I'm afraid Jones will never be that guy.

I have been a strong supporter of his ever since he came here. Having said that, he is going to have to get his head out of his ass if we are to have a good season.
I hope he is not looking past VT to the Fla. game. That would be a mistake.

So you are saying next year Bowlware and Jones are our G's?

No...Robertson and most likely Boulware. If he redshirts this year, he'd compete with either/both at guard and/or Thomas at C next year. My bet is he backs up Thomas and succeeds him and starts his last two years.

There is nothing embarrassing abou a fanatic, aggressive, natty hungry fan base. Embrace it. And He's right about Kiffin, one of the best OC in the country and if he ever get's it figured out he'll be a hell of a head coach.

Ask USC on how good of a head coach Kiffin was.

A couple of things I've picked up on.

- Doesn't want former Vol players as Coaches. Jay Graham was one of thr best RB coaches. Tee Martin one of the best WR coaches. Terry Fair was a GA for a year? This makes me believe he's worried about being undermined by someone that is loved more by the fans.

-Always praising Peyton Manning. This is a political move and nothing more. Why? Because he has not used the greatest mind at QB football has ever seen- to improve his passing game.

- App State huddle interruption. Dude we had just showed our respect on the field. He did this for himself. He's the man at Tennessee. Its his Stadium and by God you're not gonna have a huddle after the game on my field without me allowing it!! No blue font.

Butch is not we want. I'm seeing through his little vail...

Butch be like, "why TinyWeeWeeVol hating on me?"

IMO, coach Butchy has been getting a pass because he says all the right things after losses and in some cases does the right things after a crisis (interrupting the App St huddle). This is not good or bad but it would be great to finally have some positive results from all of those top recruiting classes.

Actually there is when the more vocal part of the fan base all think they are SUPER COACHES that know better how to use the talent on the team to have a chance to win football games.

Many want to compare Tennessee to "insert whatever team looked good last week" and expect the Tennessee offense to run and execute those same plays even if that is not what the Tennessee offense does best. And that is when you all that do this look really silly.

I said if he gets is head on straight and grows up a little. I didn't say he was right now.

He has been given that opportunity twice and failed. Some are not meant to be a head coach.

Edited to add: I included Tennessee in the failure because of the mess he left, not only on the field but off the field.

And where would coach Cutcliffe fit into this category? Decent or shouldn't be a HC?
