Butch Jones will land at....

Wherever he lands, it will be his "Dream Job" and it will be the "best college atmosphere he has ever seen with the best fans". He will work to build the program " brick by brick". "Nobody will work harder" and he will build a team that will have "resolve" and "Resilience" that fans can be proud of. He will work to improve the "football culture" and put a "quality product" on the field.

Forgot "individuals" and "complementary football"

I see him landing at East Carolina. Georgia Southern will be looking for a coach soon, but I don't see him falling to the sunbelt.

I think it will be a school in the Midwest. Culturally that is where he fits in. Most likely it will be a MAC school or an AAC school like Cincinnati. I could also see him land at a lower tier Big 10 program where the expectations aren’t so high. This would probably be a team in the Big 10 West which is the worst division in the entire Power 5.

***I am also lumping Nebraska in the group of lower tier Big 10 programs. As Joey Galloway said no one wants that job anymore because of the challenges in recruiting. You are so far away from the talent. They better hope Scott Frost takes the job.

I think he probably would follow through with most of that. Probably not his dream job but he could get the fanbase excited and would work hard and get his players on board. "quality product" is a bit subjective I guess. Probably good athletes with good GPA's and compete for bowl games.

I have said before I think Jones will be a coach that will be looked at for certain places. I don't see any school looking at winning championships wanting to pick him up. However put him at a school that has a mentality of "You win some, you lose some" and I think he will be a good fit. Look at what happened with Muschamp. At Florida he was dismal, at South Carolina though he is a great fit.

It’s bc Butch isn’t a bad coach, and, once he gets out from under these crazy expectations will do well. SEC pressure is hnlike any other.

He's not a good coach either. He's a caretaker, and a recruiter...which may work for some. The SEC, and this job were too big for him.

Ugh. If he comes to VA, I'll still have to hear about him every darn week.
