Did anyone watch the BJS and notice the very end? There was a close up of Jones' face as he applied black colored eye black and the words "coming sept. 24" came across the screen. Any way we come out with the black/grey jerseys for UF?

There were some pics of black and orange alternate uniform concepts posted back in March. They actually look pretty cool. I'm kinda old fashioned, but if alternate uniforms get the team fired up I'm all for it.

Because if they even give the players a little bit of a boost, they are worth it. See our game against South Carolina in the black jersyes. You cant tell me those jerseys didnt give our players a little oomph to start that game.

I understand that these "gimmicks" shouldnt affect how we play football. But these arent pro athletes, they are 18-22 year olds. As we saw last week mid game with Sheriron Jones, ANYTHING that pumps energy into the players is worth it.

Never underestimate energy and momentum with young players.

Florida game will be a huge recruiting weekend...alternate uniforms would not surprise me. I'm partial to our traditional look but whatever works with the kids is fine with me.
