Watching that made me sick, he looked like he could’ve cared less about losing and had the look of a man with no worries. Sadly Currie was in attendance and knowing that combined with the way Butch looked leads me to believe Butch is here til the end of the year at the very least and may even be given another year if he can win 3 more games.

I just don't see us winning 3 or 2 or 1 for that matter

How many times has Butch answered a question at the press conference with "I'll know more after I watch the film"?

This is true but when asked about a specific play when you're standing on the sideline that's about the only answer you can give.

Coaches don't have the luxury of seeing from TV's perspective with multiple replays and angles.

I think you have to hit this AD in the pocket book. Staying away from home games might be what it takes if we don't see action by Monday night.

What does him stating this falls on his shoulders mean? It's like a company going deeply in the red in their quarterly earnings and the CEO says it's all ok me but still draws his same salary and nothing is changed. I'm so sick of cliches and empty words.

Presnap penalties have been a problem all season. Why does he not take care of this issue. Same yesterday as in the 1st game of the year. Every week he says its inexcusable and his fault but it is never corrected. Even weak teams don't have this problem by this point in the season. I question if they really practice.

One thing more than any other that has led to him being in this spot is a failure in getting the youth on this team into games early and more often. It's where the talent is and is a major reason injuries and depth are such a problem. He mentioned Chandler. Kid has wheels so why did they not get him in more? He said they'd talked about it so why didn't they do it? Same question for LB, DL, secondary etc. You see how bama plays so many kids....well it's why they have depth and don't get worn down. It's also why injuries aren't as big a problem. His fear of youthful mistakes and the staffs apparent inability to develop players is why his recruiting won't save his job.

I know we are beating a dead horse, but I'll add to it. Byrd tweated something about a South Carolina defensive back being on an Island, and he looked up flights or something and came to a conclusion that the island didn't exist or something like that.

Anyway, the trash talk caused a stir and thought, dang - it'd be nice to see Tyler Bird back it up. I don't think he even saw the field against SC. It's like, when you are out, you are really OUT. I know Berry has been hurt, but I'd like to know, after he's graduated, how many plays he's played in his whole career. Can't be more than 20. Tell me that his only skill is kick returns, and I'll say, ok 20 plays is about right. (sarcastic here)

Darrell Taylor is another who must have ticked off Jones. If he played against KY, I didn't notice it.

Tim Priest was going off on the linebackers not playing their positions. Of course Bituli got tossed, McDowell injured, but dang. Some of these guys are seniors and still making boneheaded mistakes.

One more lick just so the horse we are beating dies..
Why do our defensive backs tackle up around the head and shoulders and try to wrestle the guy down? How may times has a running back drug a pile of orange jerseys 7 yards downfield before that last guy can jump on the pile (pushing it another 3 yards) until he falls.

Bama defenders hit the thighs, and feet when they tackle. (I know I hate even bringing them up). Runners go down. OK horse is dead.

I hate everything about Butch now as a coach. But you can't expect him to say "yeah I think he should fire me"

Its almost like he has made the program competitive at the mid-major level. The team last night looked like they absolutely quit, least our o-line did anyways.

I too question if he even has contact with the players until 2 hours before the game. Everyone shows up, "alrighty guys good job last week, i saw alot of fight in you guys and im real proud of you, but on the message boards everyone is says these mental mistakes.... look its not me guys, im proud of each and everyone of you guys, but lets watch the penalties, and mental errors. And no more pushing after the whistle, i mean it!! Now lets huddle up and sing kumbaya"
He has made it acceptable to be competitive with kentucky!! Like he said about the last loss we took to a joke of a football team,...and he said it again about KENTUCKY, man that a good football team.
"Was that not a good football team we just played?".... as he held his head high, and justified our horrible play calling and horrible player development.

Practice is 95% Botchs' philosophy speech',5% execution.

Anyone else in any profession of any filed would have been fired weeks ago for poor job performance yet we keep him and pay him more than most of this forum will see in our lifetimes. I had rather wipe my rear with steel wool than to see him coach one more game.
