I saw an Official FAN-BOY shirt today! It said, "I just love Coach ___________" he's GREAT. The blank space was covered in Velcro, you could buy the dooley or jones Velcro backed name plates to stick on. Of course it was in pink with lace around the collar and sleeves, available in most large sizes for the man with the man crush....
They just can't help themselves. Those that defended dooley, are for the most part the same sunshine pumpers that just love jones---just saying....

Q: Who is the worse hire, Dooley or Butch?

A: Yes.

It doesn't matter. Neither got the job done. Who cares. Time to move on and here's to hoping the administration actually cares and pays for a winner. No more of this "it takes 5 years" crap.

Who do you guys think would win between the 2017 Tennessee and the 2012 Tennessee team, assuming Butch and Dooley are coaching the two teams? I say 2012 wins.

I think the better question would be who wins if they exchanged rosters... IMO, Dooley would blow Jones off the field.

Dooley didn't get talent on the roster. Jones can't coach talent.

I'd prefer Dooley's 2011 staff though... Wilcox and Chaney were a really good set of coordinators

Media and camera spokesman likability:
I'll take Dooley.

Recruiting:
Butch

Game day decisions:
Dooley

Playcalling:
Dooley

Coach hires:
Toss up

And the winner is!!!
NOBODY! They both suck.

I mean Dooley is just because he never experienced anything close to a successful season. With that said, butch is awful and I want him gone just as much as I did Dooley toward the of his tenure

Dooley by far. CBJ has never put a team on the field that missed 13 tackles on one play as did Dooley's special teams did.

There's been this weird sort of revisionism in recent weeks specifically towards Dooley being a better "game day coach". Does anyone here actually remember what he was like on game days? I certainly don't remember him doing anything other than failing miserably on that front, like...ever.

Lets not act like Butch didn't help us become respectable. Dooley was one of the worse HC in Tennessee football history.

It's a comparison between which one has failed more miserably. Without Dobbs scrambling ability, Butch might have only a couple of SEC wins. However, Dooley gets the slight nod as worst due to losing to a bad Kentucky team with a WR playing QB.

Dooley had the sense to retain Cheney and went out and got Wilcox. Those were better than all of the personnel decisions that Jones has made combined. I think another great thread topic would be who is worse Scott or Sunseri?

At least gave honest effort in recruiting. Dooley needs to keep his ass in Dallas.
