Butch is not the solution to TN's woes. He is not a winner. To date he has won 1 game that he was not supposed to win (2013 USCjr).

Most of the experts picked TN today but Butch had other ideas. HE IS A LOSER AND HAS TO GO. HIS SEAT ABOUT TO GET REAL HOT :pirate:

After telling my co-workers and family that butch is the man after every heart-breaking loss and we need to keep the faith, I'm over it. Zero excuse for this loss. He needs to go or get debord the **** out TOMORROW. This fan base is depleted. No one should be expected to handle this. Too much money and prestige in this program to blow it like that.

If UT can pull out another bowl season you can't fire him, it will kill the program. Let him make the kids think that he win here and keep the cubbard full for the next coach.

He's not going to make it here. If you're stupid enough to just kick the extta point you deserve to lose. He's his own curse.

A freshman QB converting 5 4th downs with as many as 3 FR playing OL and a FR WR... then the way the drive ended for our boys?

Again this week, if the offense runs the play clock down in the third quarter, FL does not have time to come back. Too many times, we are snapping the ball with 15+ seconds remaining. You can still run the hurry-up by having the guys at the line of scrimmage, but letting the clock run more time.

I am not out on this team, but I am out on CBJ and the staff being able to deliver big wins. The final drive was a complete joke! We squandered the time available, which could of been used to get the less-than-accurate Medley closer. Expecting him to deliver a 55 yard field goal is ridiculous. The guy cannot make 40+ yard kicks, so we needed to keep the drive going.

IVe Been a big butch fan .but how in the hell do u not go for 2.r Coach need to grow some balls .on 4 and 12 and u only Russ 3 want the hell.it's going to get bad now.

This was horrible coaching at its most basic level. Butch not only called one timeout when Florida was about to punt on 4th, which led to a 1st down and eventually a TD, but a second timeout in the 3rd Qtr when UF was about to kick a field goal led to UF going for it again resulting in a second TD. This kind of decision making is considered bad for Pee Wee football, let alone college football. Our kids played their hearts out and Butch F'd them. Someone please wake me up from this nightmare.

That makes 2 4th quarter leads that Butch pissed away. This proves that he just can't win so it's time to go. They should be 4-0 right now. I am just tired of 6-7 win seasons.

DeBord didn't lose the game. 27 points with a chance to win the game against this D was not predicted by many. Butch just make classic calls like not going for 2 and not takingpenalties. And UT is cursed (watch 4th down).

People can say what they want about his recruiting, getting the fan base fired up, whatever... He is not a coach. You look at any of the top coaches in the country right now and every one of them win BOTH the OKL game and FLA game. On the last drive 5-6 seconds ran off before they stopped the clock and he didn't protest it. The camera showed him and he looked like a deer in headlights because he's in over his head. He didn't have his peronnel correct and it cost our kicker 5 yards on the potential game winning FG. Not to mention Fla perfect on 4th downs. The guy is out of his league. They were not the better team. Considering where we've been in recruiting the last few years (and yes I know its his recruiting) we have the talent to be undefeated right now but we aren't. There is no excuse for him. We need to cut the cord now before we lose more ground because he will never be the kind of coach that wins in tight games in this league and you have to be able to do that to make it to Atlanta. He's a joke. Terrible game manager and he has no balls when we need him to.

Our D is pretty bad. No pressure on the qb...can't get off the field on 4th down...poor angles...sloppy tackling...that's what really concerns me considering our D was suppose to be our strength.
