Because someone close to Crowder says it did happen.

Everyone here seems to be placing the blame for our lack of wins on the coaching staff. I wonder if anyone was watching the game. I am sorry but right now we just do not have players with the ability to get the job done. id anyone see what Florida did to Mississippi yesterday. I guess they are a little better than everyone thought. Lets face it its going to take one or two more years to get this team back to a level where they can win the tough one. I for one am enjoying the improvement this team is making. If everyone will just be patient this team is getting better. Just look at the stats if you need tangible proof. :thumbsup:

With a bright idea as this, honestly I don't see how these players would want to play for our fans. Not going to the games bc you don't like the coaches? That's ridiculous. The players get it worse than us believe it or not. They're actually part of this team not us. We don't go out there every game and suit up.. You're simply a fan... Do you really think not supporting these players would be a good idea? I swear these dumbazz rednecks in our fan base have the dumbest ideas.

I see a former benchwarmer/Dooley recruit around from time to time, and he told me that guys on the team really hated hearing butch say they lost because they have no depth.

It's funny that all the people blaming only the players for this sh**-fest are the ones who claim Fulmer should've been fired in 2002. Why the hell do you defend this garbage but not Fulmer? Absolutely ridiculous.

I'm not sure a coaching is what needs to happen right now, but there is a major deficiency in the coaching area of this program right now. To say otherwise is pure ignorance.

There was an "incident", but from my understanding it was not nearly the confrontation that folks are retelling; CBJ wrongly tried to use Crowder as a demonstration to show toughness; he probably should have let Crowder in on the intention; it wasn't assault

My point in this thread is that the OP is creating a storyline where there is no grounds for it

If he really has info, he should be able to give details about the J. Bruce situation; he has yet to do that which tells me he is simply repeating what he has heard

When the season ends the number of transfers will be the telling sign. There always transfers, but if the number is higher than normal should be an eye brow raiser of kids not buying into his program.

I doubt he hurt crowder. Crowder jumped on him and probably made him have to change his undies immediately. His contract may be voided and the whole crappy AD will go down. I am happy. We should have done this right after Kiffen. No Dooley or Jones. Sucks what it has come to but it is whst it is.

Threads are crossed and rightfully so.

Why hide the "screw up" if it was just a poor decision by the coach. Now it's getting blown up. Nothing good will come of this. Just another black eye on the University.

I've waded through a ton of these b.s. 'fire jones' comments. I'm still looking for who is supposed to replace him. (Please! Not Jon Gruden again! Ever!).

Tangible proof is winning some damn games. In cased you have not noticed Arky is by no means a very good team, except when they play a Botch Jones coached circus act.

Who is hiding it? If it was that big of a deal, it would have been all over the local media. There are scuffles almost every day in practice that are never talked about.

IMO, it's coming out now because folks are digging to look for anything to pile on an already bad situation on the hill. There have been several accusations this morning that were never mentioned. It's the mob mentality!

Some would have you believe only HS football coaches develop players, once they come to UT, we just work on plays etc.... These people are idiots, do not be fooled by their BS. Big Time College Programs (such as UT) should have Coaches that DEVELOP players!!! Yes, we recruit the best HS players we can find (and some JC transfers), but it is up to our coaching staff to continue helping these young men to achieve their full potential! Let us review! If players are getting worse-poor coaching. If players aren't getting better-poor coaching! If idiotic plays are being called-Poor coaching. If a coach blames his players-Poor Excuse for a Man. Before you know it, some fans will be wishing for another Dooley-as it will be a step up in coaching quality!!!
