Okay, so imagine that you're sitting in your living room watching a program on TV. In that program, some Army dudes are jumping out of a C-130, parachuting to the ground, then forming up and heading out on a mission.
Stop there.
Now imagine getting off your couch, going down to the recruiting station, joining the Army, getting through boot camp and advanced training for your job, joining your first unit, training with your team for a few years there, going to airborne school, going to ranger school, heading to your second unit, training with your team for a few more years, then getting the mission. Holding mission rehearsals, chuting up, getting on the plane, traveling to the objective, jumping out with all your buddies, landing, forming up, and moving out on the mission.
The first one, that's us. The second one, that's Butch.
It's almost impossible to describe how much he knows that we don't.
But that won't stop us from pretending we know as much or more, will it?
Go Vols!
