Butch: "Jalen intends to transfer"

This staff has wasted his talent for 3 years. First they refused to actually adapt their scheme to fit his skills. Then they fail to develop any talent along the offensive line.

Really sad that a player of his talent couldn't be utilized. Butch Jones once again proving he can luck into talent but doesn't know how to utilize it.

Remember he had JJ Watt at Central Michigan and couldn't get him to play to his full potential. JJ Watt had to transfer to Wisconsin to become what he is now. Hopefully the same happens for Jalen.

Sports will show your character! Jalen Hurd just showed his. He's a quitter! Pure and simple. Give me 11 JJ every day of the week. Another thing the NFL hates quitters! They want people who will grind it out and get the most out of their bodies. Maybe Hurd was in the wrong spot, but he chose to come here and play RB instead of change positions. There are players like Jason Witten, Kordell Stewart and numerous others that changed positions in the NFL.

I watched Fournette play the other day (after everyone told him to sit out this year) and he rushed for over 200 yards. He ran over a few players too in that game. He let his talent shine.

The problem with Hurd is he's everyone's MEAL ticket!

So D4H, how many NFL superstars are on team 120 now? How many get drafted in the first round? We know you think Barnett (who is in the running as one of the best defensive players in the country) is not that good.

So I would love to see your current NFL predictions for the stars of team 120. I know you are done with this team and Dobbs sucks but I need some good toilet reading material.

The kind of teammate that probably stood up to the coaches when noone else would and told butch the line was garbage the system was crap and everyones tired of running plays that everyone in the world knows are coming.

Todays presser was all about Butch sending the message that he will get rid of eveyone that thinks he should fire his dear dear friends Debord and Mahoney.

Also, BAMA didn't want him as a RB out of high school. Oh and they run a whole lot of spread now too.

This team has quit .but to quit with four games left is so disrespectful to the University and to the Vol fans.you all can say he gave his all and played injured and anything else but to me he is just a young punk who quit because he is not top dog.butch Jones should not give him a release .nothing but a quitter and a *****
If I get banned so be it .

Agreed. Just stfu...walk away for personal reasons...hire a coach/trainer...enter the draft as a te. He will get on an nfl roster.
