Nothing will happen until after Bama. Butch needs to take that whipping as his final farewell. The real question is who is going to replace him.

Vegas just called, if by some miracle butch is still coach in the spring Tennessee will be the underdog in the orange and white game.

If for some reason BJ is retained for the year 2018, I for one will not retain my tickets. I’ve seen enough to stay at home.

Measure it to Fulmer’s last five years. Things went bad for Fulmer, but look at his SEC record his last five years, the same amount of time Butch has had.

Fulmer went 24-16 vs SEC his last five years and we fired him for not winning enough. Let that sink in for a moment. Take out 2004, and you have 2005-08 which is considered the worst era of the Fulmer years, and he was still 17-15 against the SEC.

Again- let that sink in for a moment. We aren’t even as good as Fulmer at his worst, who was canned for not winning enough.

Think that the condition of the program in the years before Butch came to Tennessee are equivalent to the shape of the program in the early 2000's?

My personal emotions aside, I actually think he will be gone.
He will need to beat Bama to stay.

He MAY stay if he competes against bama and then beats the remaining teams by a good margin.

But I don't think it will happen. Even the national media are showing it every weekend. Facts are facts, and Butch can change coaches, qb's, change the stupid 3rd down song, change the colors of uniforms, or whatever else, doesn't change that he is below .500 against SEC. You can't piss someone's head and tell them it's raining over or over. He is a goner! Thank you GOD!

Recruiting has been better than it was from 2005-2008. We had a class in the 30's for 2008. Please stop. There are no excuses, quit letting what happened with Kiffin cloud what the program is.
