Butch has lost the team

Nice slice. Swain just said there is a special team meeting tonight as several players have quit the team. Hope Kong Bo isn't 1 of them. Butch may be in trouble...which means dumpster fire for recruiting etc.

Really hope we can pull it together for 9 and 3...then get a real offense next year. Don't need a complete reset and the 4 years of misery thay comes with it
I agree with this 100%

Idk about you, but I think this game felt a lot like the Arkansas game last year. I remember thinking after that game that the team may have lost faith, but we all saw what happened towards the end of the season. So lets reserve judgement for a little bit...

There were plenty of issues yesterday, but a lot of that falls on Dobbs. The turnovers were on him and as we know this team does as Dobbs does...when he is on fire we look unstoppable, and when he struggles we look inept.

Problem is that Dobbs and Co. took care of the football from that game on. Dobbs hasn't done anything meaningful all season besides a 5 yard passes turning into big gains.

Eh. 2 different teams with 2 different starting points.

Butch would show me a lot if he took over play calling on offense and let Shoop have total control of defense. If he was willing to show people that he is taking things in his own hands to fix things, he would likely earn some extra time.

True. But I would argue last years team had more of a reason to quit... they were so close and kept seeing things not go their way/kept losing heartbreakers. I could be 100% wrong, but I just think we should relax and not freak out yet. The day after a game we are all overreacting. Fortunately next week should be a pretty easy one, so hopefully Dobbs and co can get some confidence back

We looked ahead of schedule last year. Close losses to Oklahoma,Florida, and Alabama when we appeared to just run out gas at the end.
This year we are barely beating teams like Appy State and Ohio. The team appears to be sleepwalking all season. The offense has been suspect and invisible in the first half of every game. After we fall behind, it's like we scrap whatever the plan was and open things up. But in the Bama game we just didn't try at all -- result is worst loss in the history of that storied series. (Worse than Dooley ever suffered if you let that sink in). Again at SC, the offense just never moved the ball against a poor defense -- who had 2 starters ejected. It's obvious there have been issues all year and after Saturday it seems that more players have joined the mutiny Or whatever it is
