Probably the only debatable coaching decision from the A&M game would have been to go for 2 at the end of regulation. However, I would argue that decision is pretty close to 50/50. The philosophies in OT playcalling are absolutely different than regulation. You really can't compare the 2. Primarily because a turnover = loss. The fact that we our read zone and slant/swing pass combo routes were the reason we killed A&M's Linebackers. If you watched the games, Dobbs was piss poor on rollout passes but he missed on 3rd down. On 1st and 2nd down, we ran hard plays, not read or option plays that got us to OT to begin with. We literally went away from everything that got us to OT to begin with.
Dude, like everything you're looking at those 2 fumbles through a microscope. You have blinders on. I seem to remember where Dobbs scooped up a fumble against Northwestern and ran it in for a TD in one of the most incredible plays from last season. If Dobbs simply falls on the two red zone fumbles, we walk out with 6 points, if not 14. We win the game with that difference. That game was a shootout from the very beginning. Defense didn't matter.

I can't seem to remember. Was that turnover against OU before or after he took us to a 21 point lead in a game which we had no business winning in the first place? Putting that loss on Dobbs is patently false.I remember when Dobbs turned the ball over vs OU and UF last year that caused us to lose those 2 games. #Blinders
Injuries had no factor in A&M Game. Play calling is the reason we lost in OT. Injuries only played into a loss vs Bama. You're effing delusional if you think otherwise.
We are at week 11. Notice that each year, at this point in the season, we are sitting better than we were the year before. Butch isn't going anywhere.

Not because he beat Tennessee.
Because he had an easier SEC WEST schedule
