Butch Graph of Wins

If Dobbs simply falls on the two red zone fumbles, we walk out with 6 points, if not 14. We win the game with that difference. That game was a shootout from the very beginning. Defense didn't matter.

Did you read my post at all?

The fact that we our read zone and slant/swing pass combo routes were the reason we killed A&M's Linebackers. If you watched the games, Dobbs was piss poor on rollout passes but he missed on 3rd down. On 1st and 2nd down, we ran hard plays, not read or option plays that got us to OT to begin with. We literally went away from everything that got us to OT to begin with.
Probably the only debatable coaching decision from the A&M game would have been to go for 2 at the end of regulation. However, I would argue that decision is pretty close to 50/50. The philosophies in OT playcalling are absolutely different than regulation. You really can't compare the 2. Primarily because a turnover = loss.

So the team being garbage in every first half is on injuries? Or maybe Butch?
Nah, it was clearly the thrill of the comeback. And you're trying to pin it down to one thing. The truth is probably that that's not reasonable. Many more factors go into playing well.

Dude, like everything you're looking at those 2 fumbles through a microscope. You have blinders on. I seem to remember where Dobbs scooped up a fumble against Northwestern and ran it in for a TD in one of the most incredible plays from last season.

I remember when Dobbs turned the ball over vs OU and UF last year that caused us to lose those 2 games. #Blinders

I can't seem to remember. Was that turnover against OU before or after he took us to a 21 point lead in a game which we had no business winning in the first place? Putting that loss on Dobbs is patently false.

I can't remember. Are games played on paper or on the field?

You do know that OU went to the playoffs last year, right? They were a damn good football team and a lot of things would have had to go right for us to win.

Or maybe their Heisman candidate QB made the plays to win the game.

Maggit plays the whole game and we win IMO.

Butch actually gets his head outta his rear and holds the lead, we win. We can keep going round and round...

Butch will be here after next year, we will put our most productive team out next year. Next year will be a surprisingly good year I think, many players have gotten their feet wet this year. If we can get our D-Line back healthy we can be very good. We will be better upfront on the O-Line for whomever the QB is. I feel good about a 10 win season next year. GBO!!!!!

Barnett couldn't run down Mayfield. Whiffed more than once in the 4th quarter when a tackle/sack would've ended a TD drive.

Players make plays. Not coaches.

Injuries had no factor in A&M Game. Play calling is the reason we lost in OT. Injuries only played into a loss vs Bama. You're effing delusional if you think otherwise.

We had many get injured in the A@M game, in fact more got injured in that one game than any other time. You my friend are nuts if you don't think injuries didn't play a factor in the aggie game. We had over 700 yards of offense in the A@M game so what play calling are you referring too. The only call that he could have made different is going for 2 which I personally would have done, but hindsight is 20-20 and that's a 50-50 call. Their kicker was shaky so I can understand he felt we had the mojo on our side at that point. GBO!!!!!

Everything you said applies to the "on paper" argument.... Fact is that we should be a 11-1 regular season team after next week.... Injuries only factored into loss to Bama... Coaching and playcalling caused us to lose in College Station and Columbia....

I had no idea DeBord called for 7 turnovers.

Not because he beat Tennessee.

Because he had an easier SEC WEST schedule

Florida beat South Carolina and Vandy. Even if Florida would've lost to both of its SEC West opponents, the Gators would've still been the SEC East Champions because they beat South Carolina and Vandy and we lost to both.
