You coach players to fall down on fumbles, not try to scoop it up and run. Also, the play calling in OT was atrocious. Even prior to OT with the way our offense was going, he didn't have the balls to go for 2 given how their defense couldn't stop us. Coaching had a lot to do with that game that people cover with the turnover stat. Situational coaching has been a big failure under Butch.

He said tonight that neither he nor the team has ever talked about winning the SEC East and playing for an SEC Title. Ever. So, it's evidently not even a goal for the team under Butch. Guess that explains why he keeps telling to people to get off his back since we're bowl eligible.

Butch keeps referencing Bowl eligibility and insulting the fan base. Dooley is not the bar at UT. Period, end of discussion.

Yep, that bothered me when he mentioned about becoming bowl eligible two weeks ago. I mean if he thinks that is our expectations or is his expectations, he should be fired now!

Don't be foolish. In 99% of the scenarios, ending the streak means we win the East. Butch had other plans for us.

We were #9 coming into the season and the highest ranked East team. He honestly gonna say our expectations were to NOT win the East? Dude is a snake.

The only positive about UF winning is that we don't have to worry about getting pulverized, again, by Bama this year. With the way we played defense today just what do you think a SEC CG whipping against Bama would look like? Not pretty. I'm not sure we have anymore Jalen Reeve Mabin replacements for next year. Anyone else concerned that we may not be as good next year as we were this year? I certainly am.

Our roster next year will be peanuts compared to what we had week 1 this year. Butch had an SEC champ roster this year and next year we will be lucky to go bowling. Coaching held us back not talent

And LSU laid a total egg. 4 trips inside the 10 and only 3 points. If UF loses to FL State and gets crushed by Alabama we will be ranked higher and probably go to a better bowl. Let's say then they lose their bowl and we win ours. Hmmm then who had the better season?

That's BS. There were no expectations that we stood a chance to beat Bama in the SECCG. But there were absolutely solid expectations that we win a putrid East division. Butch wouldn't have gotten much criticism for losing to Bama in the championship game, but he's sure as hell gonna get plenty for not even getting there, and he should. Major disappointment for the fans.

Of course, Butch said he never once discussed winning the East with media or his team, so I guess he's not disappointed at all since he has his precious bowl eligibility.

Whole lotta "ifs" there. Bottom line, Florida won the East and will be playing in the SECCG. And we didn't and won't.
