Butch finally coming off the Jumbotron!

After reading this thread its apparent that cranes are magical, if not mythical contraptions. Thus the hold up obviously is UT trying to find the right wizard to summon the magical steel beast to Neyland.

Basilio says they're lying about not being able to get a crane. He claims they can't decide what to put up in place of Butch's face.

It's not that difficult. I'd like to see Nowling, Klarer, Tucker, and Fuson on it.

A turd, a freaking brown rocket would be better. Plus symbolic of the product we have had on the field under Butch.😀

a friend of mine is some sort of engineer for a construction firm in Eastern Virginia. Part of his job is ordering cranes for the jobs they do. They range anywhere from major highway/interstate projects to massive buildings. He claims it's not completely out the equation based on the recent weather, holiday season, distance in the air, distance from the jumbo tron the crane would have to be positioned, weight and material of picture going up, etc. that the crane hasn't arrived yet. He says this is about the longest it should possibly take though in his opinion.

Non-human icons would be sensible replacement images. Heard a suggestion that Fulmer doesn't like Peyton and won't put him up there. Sounds odd but totally in keeping with Vols disfunction.

He went with Peyton for his induction to the College HOF. In the middle of a HC search. Doubt that's true.

And a long lead time for getting artwork done for the new image, etc. Cranes are in demand. There's probably 30 in Nashville's sklyline.

Why would you have a Jumbotron that you can't change the images as often as you want? It's like having a cannon that you have to replace the barrel after each shot. Or...
