Butch feels underappreciated.

ISIS has less enemies in Knoxville than CBJ. Everyone is after a peice of his ass right now.

I do think he's unappreciated. He took over a ****pile of a program. Academics were a mess, talent was lowest it had been in yrs and it was going to get worst due to the lack of talent in soph and jr classes. Fans were leaving in droves. The brand of the 90s was long gone. He's been given 3 yrs to get the program back to top 10 level cause people started *****ing after 2 games last season. Now everyone is on his case including a former coach with a 9-23 college record.

He can make big money a lot of places now. I wouldn't be surprised to see him look around. Jmo.

Vol legacies have, to this point, done very little. Other than berry on KO returns, Kelly Jr. is the best and he's an average sec safety. Bates can't play. Others have been just there. Barnett, Malone, Jennings, Dobbs and others have meant much more. Tenn don't get those kids with Doofus as coach. Abernathy will be just as good if not better safety as Kelly and they are jones people. Stop with the legacy bull****. They've not been the deciding factor in turning the program around.

Butch is in danger of having the vowel in his name changed.

I said it yesterday....he doesn't like to be questioned or criticized. He does not handle it well. We'll see what he's really made of if he struggles against Tech, or loses to one of the weak sisters of the East. It's not gonna be pretty.

How do you know that?

He's definitely showing some frustration with his little "**** the crowd" jesture when the fans booed the field goal attempt at the end of the half

I can't post on here yet but Butch Jones just said f*** all of them referring to the fans after he called for the field goal instead of going for the touchdown before the half. I may be proven wrong but I researched and so did my wife .

Yeah I saw it too

Lmfao you stated your comment as fact. You have no idea what he likes it doesn't like.

I stated my comment as my opinion...it's what we do here. I believe the man has self esteem issues, and obviously doesn't like being questioned or criticized. I base that on my observations of his reaction to the fans and media after the Arkansas loss.

He botched games and cost us the east last yr. He didn't like the deserved criticism about the botching. He talked to us like we never seen SEC football. And last wks loss was clearly on him. Potentially costing us another shot at the east. This isn't central mich. We care and tired of coaches costing us the east.

This is yr 4. This league isn't for weiners lol

And now, as if on cue, he proves my point about his personality with his "Eff 'em all" outburst before halftime. The rest of the season should be entertaining.

Did you even watch the aTm game? TURNOVERS lost that game for us--so I certainly won't blame CBJ for that game, but good grief, man....injuries didn't lose us that game...

The USCe game is it in evaluating CBJ this year.....He & Debord truly blew chunks in that game, and they had 2 weeks to prepare........I don't know how CBJ feels, but I know what I saw on the field against Muschamp....and CBJ and his offensive crew looked like a bunch of Jr. high coaches.....and that just the truth......:salute:

Had Kirkland, JRM and Sutton been healthy the defense would have been much better. If you disagree then you're a goof.

I like Butch and in no way do I think we benefit from getting rid of him at this point, but he has some thin skin to be a SEC coach. He needs to realize that down here we eat, breathe and sleep this. We've lost 3 in a row. We're not going to be happy. If he can't handle that, maybe he needs to look around. I don't want him to, but just being honest. Might be best for him personally if he can't handle it. Don't want him stroking out in 5 years.

If you had worked as hard as Jones has to rebuild the program wouldn't you? All I ever hear from the fan base is that he should be fired.

The haters don't want to admit it, but the loss of Sutton, JRM and Kirkland had a huge impact on the D. A&M would likely have been a win.
He deserves some criticism for the lack of consistency this year, but all the "fahr Butch" BS is ridiculous.

Our rivals are glad our administration feels this way.

i agree. he has a huge problem with the media. saw it this week after the uscjr lost. he has done nothing to treat some of the media that way, just say no comment. it would look a lot better. it isnt like hes won multiple NCs to act he's above any question regarding a loss to a much lesser opponent and a 1st year coach.
