Butch is definitely the reason why players don't perform. He gets in the huddle and tells Dobbs to make terrible throws.

I have a source close to the program that told me Butch personally made Josh Malone drop that perfect TD pass against SC.

Wait, which 3? OU and UF, I'll give you. Arkansas, we were up early but played flat. We didn't go conservative we just gave up (players for the most part) and we should not have won against Bama. Should not have even been that close realistically. Coaching and heart got us that lead in the 4th.

I vote no extension but who do you think you can get that is better? Just 3 years ago there weren't many takers and I don't think many now if he is gone after 3 years

How can you look at where OU, UA, UF and now Ark sit in the standings and say we should have won? Granted; we had leads but we did not have a better team than those four do. I think it is great coaching that gave us a chance to WIN all those games. Sitting around saying we shoulda won this, coulda won that....stupid. In football, after 60 minutes the best team usually wins, no matter how they get there.

Hire a real OC and get a QB guru then we give him a raise but no ext. He needs to work with the time we have given him.

Good Lord. Where have I declared Butch a failure? I said he doesn't deserve an extension. How do you get declaring him a failure from that? You guys are stretching. What horrible trolling.

Two years ago UT was coached by one of the most incompetent people ever to run a major program. Improvement was pretty much going to happen. Any mediocre coach could have been 8-4 this year with the east as weak as it is. He doesn't deserve a raise and certainly not an extension.

Just for accuracy, Butch was the coach in 2013. Your statement about any mediocre coach is demonstrably fallacious. I agree Butch does not deserve a raise or an extension.

Can't blame the players ever. They don't tackle or catch or block or any of that kind of stuff. Kickers actually do not kick the ball either or punters don't punt. If a coach puts them in a position to win and they don't it is because the players are just that...........players.

Losses and wins are on both the players and coaches. I have been pissed at some of the play calling and being conservative but it doesn't change the fact that if Medley made one kick and if Ellis catches a pass in his hands then we beat Oklahoma. All games have different things that happen that can change a L to a W and vice versa. Three guys stare instead of tackle a Gator when he is short of a first down and in front of them. The three straight run plays hurt and that is on the coaches but if you ever played a sport then you would know a win is by and for everyone and a loss is a team thing as well.

Just reading your posts. Hard to think you are happy at all with him. I posted in some thread a long time ago to give him a 400K raise to 4 mil that takes him from 10th to 6th in the SEC and no extention since he is already has a contract for five more years to 2020. The one that actually is posting troll like posts is you.

It's funny that the same people who attack for criticizing Butch have no problem criticizing the players. Seems hypocritical that these are the same posters declaring others nega-vols.
