Butch deserves NO Raise and NO extension

It's laughable that they can't see improvement..I honestly think they take it out on Butch because as long suffering Vol "fans" they deserved a big name splashy hire and when they didn't get Gruden or Strong they immediately turned on this staff

Do hold butch responsible at all for the OK, FL, or Arky losses?

The season's stats are improved. That isn't the problem. The problem is what we've seen the past couple of weeks vs a couple of really, really bad defensive teams.

This is such a dumb mantra by the NegaVols. Nobody is hoping to top out at 8-win seasons. The difference is that we are able to see the progress of an 8-win season this year given where this, program has been over the past DECADE.

What if they lose 1 or both of these last 2?

So does Florida suck because Vandy about beat them and does Michigan suck because they had to go to 2OT to beat a team that was winless in the B10?

Then they lose and weren't good enough to win them. I'm still in through 2016. I wobbled a bit when we got to 2-3, but I see major progress in this season over last. I personally think we will take another step forward in 2016, but only time will tell.

I try not to be a Chicken Little and run around waiving my hands in a panic after a bad game or two. Because every team has good and bad games over the course of the season.

What I do know is this. Even with another loss, Butch has earned the right to coach next year with a team comprised entirely of his players. Again, I think next year could be special.

OK and FL maybe..I think Arky wore down our line and just beat us

That's all most of us "Nega's" are saying. Holding responsible for bad coaching decisions resulting in a loss. Are we making progress? Yes, but I think it's ok to criticize him along the way if it's deserved.

I don't put Arky on the coaches. We just got beat.

But, if you are going to put the losses on him, then you have to give him credit for the wins, which will greatly outnumber the losses.

I must be negavol light, because I mostly agree with you. He definitely deserves 2016

Definitely yet to be proven

So? Let him go if he thinks he can do better.

Yes, of course, competing against those schools for a new coach would be the correct approach, what was I thinking??:eek:lol:

Strength of Schedule Rankings for CFB

Seems we can all pick and choose strength of schedule.

Offense regressing? we are averaging 50 more yards and 6 more points a game over last year

schedule difference? we have the toughest schedule in the country this year

You do know we lost to all the teams that made the schedule tough right?

I don't know if I should laugh or be offended by the use of the word nega

Considering how far this team has come in 2 1/2 years and 30-40 FBS Head Coach openings this year, that makes a lot of sense.
