nope ut needs boise st coach and i think that is going to happen:good!:Butch Davis at UT would be SEC coaches nightmare. He would pull in the top recruiting classes year in and year out. Recruits love him and they would get the coaching that they deserve. They would be ALOT better players when they left than when they got there. Something that has not happened in Knoxville in a long long time. UT NEEDS Butch Davis.
aint that the truth:dance2:Butch Davis is an entirely different person than he was when he went 11-1 at the U of M.
He's a different person than he was just two years ago when he took over at the University of North Carolina.
Look at his pictures.
How many of you here are in your latter fifties like Davis?
It's not easy to get started a-new when you're 58 years old like he is.
I could be mistaken but I think that Butch is just too damn old.
One other thing: Davis said that he was not interested in the Dallas job and said that he would not leave the U of M. He lied. They offered him money and he left.
UT does not need another coach with a character problem.
Marvin Austin.
He got Marvin Austin and Dwight Jones, the top DL and one of the top WRs on our boards.
Just repeating my question. Anyone?

"Butch would follow Jimmy Johnson to Dallas where, as defensive coordinator and coach of the defensive line, he helped Johnson and new owner Jerry Jones create a back-to-back Super Bowl champion out of a Dallas Cowboys team that went 115 in 1989 (Johnson's first year as head coach). Davis would be promoted to Defensive Coordinator in 1993 after the departure of Dave Wannstedt. After Jimmy Johnson left, Davis continued at Dallas for one more year as assistant coach under Barry Switzer."
