I agree with that, but the timing makes very little sense. It makes me wonder if they heard something from the NCAA about severity of punishment with or without Davis or if they have a plan in place to replace him quickly. Or something else... But why now?

Baggett is a helleva a coach and I think would make a great HC but I think it would make better sense to go after Foster, Smart, or Malzahn due to there age. That may sound petty but it seems like a better choice for the long haul.
