Butch can't even back into an East Title

with the division at its all-time worst... This has been a wasted season and failure by Butch's own standards as he has touted that Year 4 will be the year he goes far.

Writing is on the wall that Butch is not the man to lead this program.....

Its okay little buddy, somewhere around your late 20s or earlier 30s you learn to control emotions and knee jerk reactions.

Results only stay the same when we go budget shopping for coaches. It's evident that if you wanna pay for Big East coaching, you get Big East results. Absolutely disgraceful.

This is the most disappointing year of Tennessee football in over a decade because of the expectations coming into the year. Some of us are tired of settling for mediocrity and our version of Ron Zook.

Is the program better than it was 4 years ago? Absolutely. But that still doesn't change the fact that expectations aren't met.

Totally agree OP. Butch Jones has been a disappointment on so many levels. I have news for this fan base... if we cant win the East this season, we're not winning it next or the year after. Butch's time has come. Time to move on to another guy. Perhaps we should start by not extending his contract. He gets no raises and understands clearly that his job is on the line next season.

Anyone who believes this is anything other than a total failed season is delusional. Worst SEC East in a generation, perhaps ever, & Butch still couldn't win it. Rip the band aide off & hire Kiffin. And no, I'm not kidding.

OP was that you with the pom-pom on the TV? At least those who didn't want to play Bama again or got bent out of shape about SEC east champs getting a ring should be happy. We will not get either of those.

I think it would do more damage for the team and recruiting at this point. Alabama will destroy Florida in that game just as they would UT. TN needs to win out and go bowling.
