I think we are in Iraq for the long haul, but I agree with the other side of the coin. It is horible that so many have lost their lives over there, however, it is a duty they accepted. Unfortunately, we are facing the conclusion that a US military prescence in Iraq will be needed to maintain some form of stability. I find it hard to believe that Obama or that other dude that's running for the Dems can: A. have the sack to stick it out and protect our intrest over there, or B. have the brains to realize it's value.
As gas goes up, Dems use it as a ralley cry. If, and Lord help us, IF, one of those dipsticks gets elected, Gas prices go down, troops leave Iraq, economy is fixed short term, new terrorist attack on American Soil. It is a sad equation, and many will disagree, however I feel that without a military influence in the Mid East, this country runs the risk of another attack. And furthermore, those to crayon chewers arent fit to run a pencil sharpener, much less MY U.S.A.
