Moved this to a new thread.

I was curious if anyone is going this weekend? Some how I hadn't heard about this until now. Seems like it would be a fun time.

(and I know, Burns is a traitor, not a VFL, etc. etc. Let's leave that discussion in that thread please.)

I am going, but it is easy for me. 10 min from home. Tony V is going to be part of a show downtown Friday night that I am going to also. Just wish I could have found a 2024 College World Series ball to get signed.

Players got to do some once in a lifetime type things.

Also saw some place that afterwards, BMS is donating the playing field to ETSU...so that's pretty cool too.

I went both days. Saturday night was rough but the opening ceremonies were really cool to see. Pregame concert was a joke, couldn't hear anything......we stuck it out through the delay and left after the Braves batted Saturday night.....van got stuck in the mud.....kids freaking out and crying....saved by 5 guys that worked for the campground that were driving around to push people out, by hand.

Sunday was a different story. About 1/2 the crowd, I'd guess....moved around freely to other seats(after we had to move from the 1st seats we sat in when the ticket holders showed up in the 5th inning, yes, seriously, IN THE 5TH INNNING).....only one of my sons went back with me on Sunday and we had an absolute blast!
