I've been awake since 3:00 am. Drove my family from New York to knoxville. I am living in north Knoxville for the next three weeks.

The fact that he has been kept out of the weightroom because of his injury already has him a step behind. And if they do move him there it's probably much less about this year since he won't see significant time behind Lane and Neal. Then next year we already have a good RB class coming in that could leave us with a freshman starter in Hurd.

IMO JRM is better suited for defense and will see significant time there much more quickly.

Dude, there is a JRM thread, take your post there. Let's keep this one on track. Mods, but can you clean this up?

Now, back to Litton's, they've got to be a top 10 restaurant in ETN.

Cheesecake Factory gave me my favorite burger ever. It was called the Memphis Burger and of course had BBQ on it. I've been seeking something that could match it since.

Arby's use to have an awesome burger, it has been over 25 years since they removed the burger from their menu.

Lived in Knoxville until I was 21 and never ate at Littons. Knowing that, the best burger I've ever had is at Rottier's. Served on lightly toasted french bread.

Litton's isn't what it used to be.

Oddly there is a small place off Lovell Rd. at Pellissippi pkwy called Nick and J's(very small place) that is rumored to have a better burger than Litton's. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Directly across the street from Burger King.

I have not been there myself just read reviews.

Took the fiance there to eat Litton's last year during a vacation, and was not impressed. Dessert was better than lunch.

Nick and J's Cafe is really good, but I haven't had their burger, so couldn't comment on that.

I know it's a chain, but Fuddrucker's is about the best burger that I have had in the area. Love me some of their jalapeno cheese to go with the awesome fries as well. I ate Sam and Andy's West quite a bit for their burger, but haven't been back since I ate at Fuddrucker's.

Not in Knoxville but since we're on a burger discussion....best I've ever had is:

The Vortex - Welcome

If you find yourself in Atlanta....allow plenty of time and it's worth every minute you'll wait. Oh, and you need to read the menu....some memorable items for sure.

Litton's was not that great to me sorry to say. Maybe the hype got me. Hardees has a pretty darn good burger IMHO. I'm going to try Nick N J's this week if I can. Thanks for the heads up!

Fuddruckers is pretty darn tasty....no complaints with that place.

I'm moving to Knoxville soon and that is definately on the agenda. We have a few fans living in Georgia that speak highly of the place. Also, going to Pappadeaux in Marietta.

I see "Litton's" being praised often, what is so great about them?

No sarcasm, just curious. I've never been.

They make sandwiches out of ground beef and call them hamburgers, charge like $10 a burger.

I have often wondered the same thing.
It's a burger joint. I have never been either.

My guess was they had waitresses with a full set of teeth.

This is hands down the best Berger of all time:

If they actually use ground beef, that puts them a level above many.

Litton's started out as a butcher shop where you could go buy quality cut steaks and they did not serve food.
