Bulletin Board Material to Motivate VOL Players

Gentlemen and ladies, lets put our politics aside. It was a long road to the White House I am sure we all enjoyed the sport of it all, who won and who lost the Presidency...the House...the Senate...Specter is inconsequential. What really matters is winning championships.

Constitution talk is for another forum, what do sports junkies know about the Constitution, torture, manipulating the Justice Department to garner more authority for the Bush Administration to act without impunity and circumvent congress in violation of the Constitution. We are just sports junkies so lets just leave the constitution out of this and talk about National Championships.

National Championships mean little without a strong American nation do they? We have been sold out to the unions in only 100 days, I am stoked about the future! (Hope you detected sarcasm because I laid it on thick)

Hope you get another one in the next few years, the Urban window is closing quickly, up next Zook II.

Actually...National Championships mean a ton whether your nation is strong or not. Look at other countries around the world...they celebrate as much as we do over sports regardless if their country is strong or not. just a thought.

Quite possibly the weakest attempt at putting down a coach in college history is calling Kiffin "lame kitten".

Not only is it disgustingly lacking in creativity, it's not insulting or relevant.
this coming from the forum that brought us tim tebag, tim teblow, and the Gators

well...i bet there was good punch at the party. other than that I am not for sure it is worth the trip. which brings me to this quick story and point. I have been to both the white house and inside neyland stadium ( all by my lonesome). I had gone to PF Changs on papermill and kingston and then went over to the stadium just to look around outside...however teh gate was open and fulmer was leaving with some other individuals (this was in 06) and i walked by saying "hey coach". I took my food in, sat on the 50 yard line and ate. walked around and remembered old games as a kid. one of the best memories of my life. I have met a president, been to the white house...and i wouldnt trade a thousand of those for that neyland moment. it was at night and the lights were still on...that is where the magic happens. so in two years when the gators come and visit Neyland tell them to take pics...that way they can tell their kids, "When I was playing football for Florida, I actually had the chance to go and play at Neyland Stadium."
another reason I loved going to florida, our stadium is open til 10 daily for workouts, tours, visits, etc. stadiums and windsprints twice a week over 4 yrs will really make you love the place.

Carter, Reagan, Bush1, Clinton, Bush2 would all have been an honor. This president has done damage to the very principles the country was built on. I for one believe the constitution is very important, this president doesn't seem to feel the same way. Political beliefs have nothing to do with it, it is the simple fact that Obama has used authority that he does not have and I fear it will get worse.

LOL!!!!!!

Iraq War anyone???

i am crying i am laughing so hard right now.

if we're relying on bulletin board material for motivation, we're in more trouble than we already know about.

Agreed. Isn't 5-7, being scorched by two biggest rivals, firing a legend, and being the laughing stock of the second enough. Any news article from last year will do. Pick up the kns after wyoming left neyland with our pride.

I'm prety sure he went through Congress to go to war in Iraq. Obama totally circumvented bankruptcy courts and brokered deals he has no authority over. There is a distinction to be made here.

Meeting the president is a cool part of winning a major title, but there are probably thousands of better things that come out of winning one.

I'd say if last years embarrassment isn't motivation enough then the guys on the team should just give up football. They shouldn't need any extra motivation.

In these tough times with the Union's stranglehold on this country, as a Gator fan, I would like to say we will take and enjoy any National Titles UT fans don't want and cant enjoy.

I'm as interested in looking at Gator White House pictures as a Gator fan would be looking at the Vols at the White House. Thanks, but I'll pass.

I didn't say we wouldn't enjoy any national titles, just that you are more than welcome to keep any trips to the White House.

Get ready the SEC is going to get more interesting with us on the rise. We won't compete for the SEC title this year but given a year or two we will be giving you guys all you want.

Honestly, the Gators even look great off the field. They are a disciplined, well-honed team with a professional attitude that puts the team first. They get a whole lot of press, because, frankly, they earn it.

Dear Lord, I hope I never have to post anything like this again!

But, you've just got to tip your hat to this bunch. They're likely going back-to-back on NC's. Thank goodness for eligibility limits.

You do have a point, but some times losing is not enough. Sometimes is helpful to aspire to something.

You should be, you do that when you win the national championship. Besides, it's an honor to meet the President regardless of your political beliefs.

Why?

Does he put his pants on 2 legs at a time?

I'm not impressed by celebrity. I respect results.
