Build Your 12-Man Championship Roster

**** every Pacers player involved in that stupid ish. Don't get me wrong those fans deserved a beat down, but Reg said that was the moment he decided that was his last year.

Ruined what could've been a great season. Iirc, Reggie was suspended too, for leaving the bench to try to play peacemaker.

Yep, Reg said of all the teams he played on he felt that one was his best chance to win a title.

Soooooooooooooooo mad.

People always forget this but Ben's brother died just recently and he wasn't in the right mental state. He overreacted, but Artest was the jackass who hard fouled Wallace when the game was in hand, the dumbass for daring the crowd to do something, and the ******* for going into the crowd.

Oh Wallace was also a multiple time first team NBA defender and 4x DPOY. So you are also wrong about that.

Daring the crowd to do something? Didn't he go lay on the scorers table? And **** p**** fans that think they can throw crap at a player, without anything happening to them. Ron was an idiot and hit the wrong guy though.

Tbh I'm not sure Stern should've let Artest back in. The biggest thing about that night for me is that everybody involved is Damn lucky it wasn't worse. It was disastrous enough, but could've been tragic.

Yeah it could have been a lot worse. Every time I think of this, I picture JO sliding in to punch that one fat ****er.

That's burnedinto my Brain like a brand. When I'm like 52 and senile, that punch and CJ knocking Noah 's teeth out will probably be the only things I remember lol

Here is my 2015 most underrated team. Included is where they ranked in Wins Produced by position.

Eric Bledsoe - 3rd
PJ Tucker - 5th
Nic Batum - 3rd
Pau Gasol - 2nd
Jonas Valanciunas - 5th

The foul wasn't very hard. And they are rival teams. Not to mention, fouls are part of the game while throwing down like you're in a street fight is not.

Also, when did Artest taunt the crowd? He laid down on the scorers table like a pompous jerk and I'm far from on Artest and Stephen Jackson's side so don't think I am, but Artest didn't do anything other than lay down after Ben Wallace lost his mind and chased Artest down the court. Then a fan proceeded to hit Artest directly in the face with a soda and Artest went off in return after having already avoided one altercation. I won't make excuses for Artest's behavior running into the crowd but Ben Wallace absolutely set it off. The crowd was going nuts because he tried fighting Artest and it's what set the crowd off in the first place. No different than inciting a riot really. Although that's just another day in Detroit.

Watch the video again and if you think it's not Wallace's fault, you're even more bias than I am. You made multiple excuses for his behavior trying to defend Wallace while placing blame on Artest. So what if it was a foul with the game almost over and in hand. So what if his brother just died. People lose family members everyday in this world and they don't go starting fights. Especially in front of kids, over a game. Your excuse that the game was in hand and almost over also holds no baring seeing as the Pistons still had their starters on the floor. Why not blame the Pistons for having their starters out on the floor to be "fouled hard" when the game was already over since you seem to think it makes a difference what point of the game it was.

It's cool though, defend Ben Wallace throwing down in front of 30,000 people as well as the fan who threw something at Artest because he apparently taunted the crowd. I don't know what you watched but we watched something completely different it seems. Stephen Jackson was taunting the Pistons players but other than that...

Go to the 1:20 mark and watch the replay of the foul. If you as a "basketball guru" think that's a hard foul...

15 point game with less than a minute to go and he basically shoved him. I said Wallace overreacted and went too far and gave a perfectly logical excuse why he did that for a guy who usually didn't overreact on the court.

And Artest laying on the scorer's table in front of a hostile crowd is a dumb move. Nobody else does it because it's a dumbass move. I never excused the fan's behavior but that doesn't surprise me that you didn't catch that. Also I like how you are trying to defend Artest FOR GOING INTO THE STANDS AND TRYING TO THROW DOWN AND GOING AFTER THE WRONG FAN TO BEGIN WITH. Trying to defend Artest in any way shape or form is a dumb base to stand on.

But hey if you want to blame Ben Wallace for Indiana's blown "championship aspirations" then go right ahead. Not like Detroit beat them in six the year before. Either way, Detroit won their title and made the NBA Finals again. Not the Pacers.

Someone needs to get Ron Jovi over here so he can set up a match between Z and Top. I'd pay whichever one kicks Jovi's wookie ass.
