Until further notice, KU was 11-1 and Orange Bowl Champions in 2007. Did they benefit from a pretty weak schedule? Yes. However, they only lost to one team last year. That team, only lost to one team...OU.Sorry, I really just dont like KU. One of the kids on my floor is a big KU fan and wouldnt stop talking smack about them last year.
People were praising them for being so good last year to the point they thought they'd be great this year, but if you look at last year's schedule, the only teams they played with a pulse were Mizzou and Va tech...and that Va tech's offense was horrendous. Like the best BCS conference teams that they played after those 2 finished the season 7-6.
I want them to lose some this year so that people see that it was just a flash in the pan from the schedule, they didnt suddenly turn into worldbeaters.
But mainly i think I want my friend to shut up aboutthem too

People were also picking WVU to do the same. The Buffs beat them handily...true, i know. Maybe I should have said frauds for this year then? People were picking them to win the big 12 or even have a shot at a BCS championship...i really just thought i was a flash in the pan
CU definitely is not much of a test. I also see KU losing at least 2 more games this year. However, those will be losses to two top 10 teams, not exactly an "exploiting" of KU Football. You say that as if Colorado can play football. Last week was ver telling about KU, even in a win.

Indeed. I would like to see KU get to the next level, however, I will be more than satisfied if he keeps the Jayhawks in the postseason while he is there.
