Hahaha...it should be a good game. VT kept it "vanilla" as well..but it will take a few games to get into the grove. Our Defense played an outstanding game with 3 picks, and a fumble recovery. Only one sack, but from what I could see, we didn't blitz much. 2nd strings came in around the 8 minute mark of 3rd, with the back up QB at the end of th
3rd. Overall a slow start, balanced attack, that began to run more smoothly as the game went on. Just my opinion, you guys have your hands full next week if your OLine doesn't improve.

I do know that App has never signed a four or five star recruit. Conventional wisdom would say we're lacking in talent. Conventional wisdom would be wrong. :)

We have all the talent in the world..........between the sidelines. It's the piss poor coaching that is holding us back, in my opinion.

Good point. Ignore the Vol fans that are still drinking the Kool Aid and are overlooking Virginia Tech. Many are realists, like myself and still see that Butch Jones is coaching and Debord runs the offense. As long as those things are happening, I take no Vol opponent for granted.

I too am a realist..and know that VT should lose next week. Heck, I have been expecting that since the game was announced. With that being said, I now, don't really know what to expect from either team, from what I have seen in the 1st games. I do know that the VT defense is good though, and expect that if the Vols win, it will be on the ground and not thru the air.
