These are 2 freshmen that UT planned to redshirt and they have played their way on to the floor, 2 to 5 minutes are not going to kill you, depending on the match-up. They already have in-bounds plays just for Cade, he is getting a couple of minutes, every game. Carr has a smooth stroke, seems to pass and rebound pretty good and has those long arms that can translate into an elite defender. I'm not saying put them in against UK at 55-55, but when the opportunity appears, get these freshmen some minutes. I think Rick agreesBut you have to sit Awaka or JJJ to play Cade more. You have to sit Vescovi and Gainey to plan Carr more?

Aidoo needs to study Hakeem on offense because if he could do that shake, being a great shooter, it would really help his game. He's great at the high post, really good passer from that position, too.JJJ could benefit from limited minutes in the regular season grind and be less worn down by the time the post season comes around.
I’d like to see Awaka and Phillips get some court time together. But Aidoo is turning into a player that you’ll want to give maximum minutes.
Sometimes it’s not about “taking” minutes from players. Foul trouble can force players to lose minutes. When that happens with Awaka/Aidoo, it would be nice to have Phillips come in and play well. I think he can do that, especially by late in the year.Who are you taking minutes from to give to Cade & Carr?
He certainly doesn't get the Tshiebwe treatment from the zebras.Awaka seems to pick up some petty fouls from officials. Makes me wonder if officials’ eyes are too focused on him because he is a banger. I’m talking some questionable touch fouls. Then every time he gets the ball in the low post, you’ve got the opposition literally mugging him.
Nobody will ever be able to get even close to Hakeem's shake...just as nobody will ever master the Kareem sky hook shot...often imitated never duplicated...Aidoo needs to study Hakeem on offense because if he could do that shake, being a great shooter, it would really help his game.
