My heartfelt thank you goes out to the Volnation member that fulfilled my request and recorded the Senior Night pregame ceremony and posted it to youtube. Please identify yourself by quoting and responding to this post. Again, it was sincerely appreciated.

It's all on the Tennessee Basketball Facebook page as well

Another thing that most people missed id bet is the protest that was attempted failed miserably

I am all for the right to protest and I am so
Glad it wasn't heard much at all because don't mix that stuff with my sports. I don't care if he protest was done in the name of something i support because tonight was about one thing.
And the that's about the Big Freaking Orange!!!
This is such an asinine statement from beginning to end.

Dude this night was about the greatest basketball team in Tennessee history and four great VFLs that should never be forgotten.

If you want to protest and create change do it in another venue where your voice isn't drowned out by 20k fans cheering for those things that they came to cheer for

Surely you would agree that the specifics of the message being heard is key to a protest ????

I had no idea about anything about this entire incident, and now I do. And apparently there are many more like me, based on Twitter.

Seems like it worked....whereas if they listened to you and had a protest on campus where literally nobody was around, pretty much no one would know. Hell they already had a march and open panels with the admin and I hadn't heard one word.

My advice, you probably need to stay in your lane because it's pretty clear you don't understand the concept of a protest.

I knew about it days ago.

So my advice to you is get out from
Under your rock and maybe you will
hear about ignorant acts sooner than Jimmy Hymans next time.
It's been all over twitter for days now

Oh cool, you knew about it. I forgot this is all based on your perception of the world, because God knows we need to coddle BruinVol's worldview.

Again, I hadn't heard jack squat about this and I'm on Twitter at least a bit every day. These guys protest and suddenly it's all over my Twitter. So again....seems like it worked.

I’m sorry you don’t the irony in that hardly anyone here and no one in this thread had said a word about and you brought it up; and now the thing you didn’t want getting any attention is getting attention.

Good job!

BTO, Awesome write up as always!! #6 well we can't thank these guys enough. I was reading article about the walk on players and even how special those guys were. Even the guy on SEC network was talking how this team made him love college BB even more. This team and coaches rep all the good things we love about sports!! I can't say it with any more pride That it's great to be a Tennessee Vol and cheer these guys on!!! Thanks again for all the great write ups. Hopefully your get a bunch more this year!! GBO

Lol

The man that started the thread has my exactly opinion.

I dislike that they did it on senior night, I get they wanted the exposure (don’t think they ultimately got much), but to me the players didn’t deserve any eyes/attention to be taken away from them on their 1 night.

And go pound sand with your holier than thou bulls*** grandstanding. Me not being bothered by a protest in no way means I don’t care about the team or know that it’s an important night.

Cry me a river you delicate flower.

I noticed a bunch of people dressed in similar looking clothes on the Jumbotron during the pregame build up. I wondered if they were making an organized statement and then I completely forgot about them. So either they respectfully and quietly filed out -or- if they were trying to be noticed then it was a complete fail.

It was more about the rest of the crowd.

It was a great crowd that drowned anything out that wasn't about the game

Btw I haven't been to TBA in awhile and the dead ball activities were more organized and modern. I thought the marketing crew Did a good job. Different than years past

I wish that 2 more shots would have dropped through the net. Johnson's brick from 3 that was long and didn't draw iron (he must have been pumped after his previous 2 makes) AND one of Lucas Campbell's shots. One of LC's went about halfway down. Woodson's three pointer was highlighted on Sports Center with SVP.

Smells like a lot of don’t tread on me and entitlement in here.
Yep, I think the players didn’t mind the protest (Alvin Kamara attended one a few years ago). The guys here should hope that the issue they are protesting doesn’t happen again. Stuff like that could hurt with the folks we predominantly recruit. We don’t want to become Ole Miss (who has to explain to people that what you see on TV is not Ole Miss) or Georgia (see Justin Fields).

Big shout out to the two douche bags we ran into in the bathroom who were pissed that "that miss st. player stole the ball from that white senior".
