Doesn't have to be the helmet. Any shot to the head of a defenseless player can get called....but it wasn't high at all.

Worst call I ve ever seen what's he supposed to do two hand touch. Hopefully Cbj can appeal or something horrible just horrible.

Every person responsible for that BS call should be suspended without pay for their next scheduled game. That would put an end to it.

I give the officials on the field the benefit of the doubt. It happens fast and sometimes looks worse than it is. But no excuse for that outcome after a review.

If butch doesn't publicly shiit talk the sec refs I'm gonna be disappointed. Kicked a guy out of the game for a perfect hit just like it's taught.

Someone needs to educate the NCAA on the detrimental effect the targeting rule is having on the interest in the game from players and fans alike.

It's getting pathetic.

Could CBJ challenged the fumble? Clearly it was a fumble. This was the most rediculous call of the year. I live for hits like that on D! How are we even supposed to tackle anymore? I am furious!!!!!!

Clean hit. Too bad the NCAA has made it to where a person can't even lay a legitimate hit on another player. Head to head contact via launching, I'm all for making that call. Anything outside of that is football. I hate hashtags, but #bringbackgrownmanfootball

I have been watching football for 50 yrs and that is the biggest BS call I have ever seen !!!! He almost made contact with his back getting his head away from the receiver. REFS should be suspended next week and pay docked . what are we doing playing two hand touch!
