We used to put nitrogen in our race tires because the psi didn't change with heat like normal air does with water molecules.

The most hilarious thing about that is that depending on the year of her Volvo it may be a Ford part!!!

I know nothing about the pros and cons of using pure nitrogen, but since "air" is composed of 70-80% nitrogen anyway, it seems a little sketchy.
