His hearing was set for 9/23.
As a Vol fan, you have to wonder why so late.
Don’t you think in cities named Athens, Gainesville, or Tuscaloosa that his case would have been “fast tracked” if it even went to court at all.
So, if we had a player or players that were found guilty of felony charges, but given "house arrest" required to wear a homing device, you'd be okay with them playing for UT, as long as they were good players? Now, that is the kind of role model(s) we need for the next gen of players, and citizens as a whole. I would rather see a clean program, if nothing else, W or L, we can be proud of that.Who knows in Gainesville, Mullen has kicked every kid with even a hint of legal trouble off the team without due process playing out. And I’m not bragging about him in favor of it. I think his trigger finger has been a little quick due to public pressure.
I prefer the Saban approach. Take care of it in-house as you and the Administration see fit, public pressure be damned.

Senior, thanks for the well thought out post! I've have re-read my post, and realize, for some of the really old guys, I should have underlined my question mark, or put the question in a much simpler way, so as to make it more easily understood by all. God bless your heart.Thats not what he said, calm down Junior.
