This. He's going to open some eyes at The Combine. Don't understand the people that think he won't get drafted.

This actually may be a smart move by Thompson...and I wouldn’t normally say that, but Bryce is a guy who is probably going to put up really good testing/combine numbers. He is capable of running a high 4.3-mid 4.4 40 time, so coming out early might not be a bad idea for him. He has enough on tape to get drafted, and will test out as a very good athlete. I think he would've been drafted last year but players regress with this coaching staff. I hope he makes a roster if he's not drafted.

Bad move. Late round draft prospect vs FA. Don't know if it was bad advice or just wanting to leave a sinking ship. Very difficult for a late rounder or FA to make a roster; minimal signing money. Essentially, his football career is over. Good luck.

Don't blame him. He will end up being like several players here the past few years and dip heavily due to "fundamentals" and then latch on for a multi-year NFL career due to athletic ability. Callaway was the example last year, Moseley a few years ago, Tuttle a few years ago, etc.

Ha ha, the same guy who coached some of these guys coached the guys who didn't run clean routes and lacked fundamentals to get separation per predraft scouting reports. Those two guys were Travis Kelce and Antonio Brown.
