Bryce Brown?

Hell, he was held out at least an entire game (was it two?) when they were investigating his eligibility.

Bryce did not exactly impress this past year. You look at a guy like Trent Richardson and see the impact he had, then you look at Bryce; there's really no comparison. If he wants to leave, let him. We've got depth and talent at that position. If you want it you have to earn it Bryce[/QUOTE

Brown had nothing on Hardesty last year. That's why he didn't "impress". He was a reserve.

He did have a few concussions. Maybe he's not thinking straight anymore.

Thanks for all the rumors, Bryce & Aaron. Got to have something to fill in the time between signing day and spring football.

Richardson's impact was helped tremendously by great o-line play - not to mention the rest of the talent they had on the field.

Put BBrown in that rotation and he would have done well too - not ragging the sullins twins but come on...

A rumor is just a fact waiting to happen!

Besides, who in their right mind would listen to that god awful network. The fact they call themselves a sports station is a disgrace to radio.

Jimmy Hyams and John Wilkerson are okay, they use the same material every single show, and it's very repetitive, and always interviewing "former SEC Official Rocky Goode". Really, who cares about a freaking referee!

Probably the worst radio I've heard in my short lifespan, Freaking Doc, Jeff, and Feather. My 2 dogs know more about sports than those nutjobs do.

Imagine how he would have done with Bama's O-line and not having the Sullins bros blocking for him...

I was thinking the same thing. Comparing Alabama's runningbacks to Tennessee's is stupid because anybody could run with Bama's offensive line. Tennessee's on the other hand was a mess.

Statistical comparison doesn't work, but the eyeball test does. Richardson is a bad man and was the best runner on AL's roster IMO. Dude's a tough tackle.

I know you think that radio station is bad, but you haven't heard Doc, Quake, and the Cowboy down here in Chatt. I can't stand listening to those idiots. They make Jimmy and John look like official sports guru's.

Bryce's girlfriend transferred from Miami to Tennessee so I really don't think he will leave.

I forget the exact numbers, but BB as a freshman with a hip injury ran for something like 500 yds backing up Hardesty who ran for something like 1400 yards. He was also great out of the backfield receiving. Seems like he filled the role he was asked to play perfectly fine. Having said that, nothing would be better for BB or UT than for there to be a close competition for featured back status in spring practice and pre-season. No reason to be down on any of these guys, including Poole.

My favorite play of the season last year is still Janzen taking the head off that Florida receiver - but in my top 10 was BB's first touchdown - 3 defenders on about the 1 yard line went over like bowling pens. Get him well, give him a little time, he'll be fine.

Yep. MH was the best in the SEC considering the patched together line he ran behind. No way BB could have done what Hardesty did. BB'll have plenty of chances.
