Sports talk here in Knoxville was discussing a rumor about Bryce transferring to play with his brother at KState. Said he may not like the new coaches.

PLEASE tell me this is just offseason rumors.....!!!!

Brown said he was gonna take a wait and see approach, so anything could happen.

Bryce Brown had the chance to play at Miami with his brother out of high school witn no penalty. Why would he ask for a release, wait for it to not be granted, sit out a year just to transfer to kansas State? For something he could have easily just done out of high school at Miami?

I didn't think his brother is at K-State, I thought he was going to a D2 or Juco. Maybe I am wrong, but this is just what I thought I had heard.

Brown is going to have to prove he deserves to start.....there is some hungry hungry studs in that RB stable we have. If he thinks they don't plan to bring it then your crazy.

Bryce did not exactly impress this past year. You look at a guy like Trent Richardson and see the impact he had, then you look at Bryce; there's really no comparison. If he wants to leave, let him. We've got depth and talent at that position. If you want it you have to earn it Bryce

Agreed. We can do without Bryce if hes going to have that attitude. We have more than enough RBs.

I don't think he was 100% last year... Nagging hip injury or something....

TheMercury.com - K-State Sports Article

Arthur Brown, a former five-star linebacker and one of the top players in the nation in 2008, is transferring to Kansas State after seeing the field minimally in the past two seasons at Miami, according to his father in a release to hovpensports.com.

Bryce will wait and see how he fits into coach Derek Dooley's system.

He played with a major hip injury the entire season, and had at least 2 concussions.

Imagine how he would have done with Bama's O-line and not having the Sullins bros blocking for him...

I doubt it because they run a spread offense. Now, if his brother is battling some demons and he just wants to be there to support him then I would say by all means do what you have to do!
