Last i heard it was sort of a big deal.

A) Does anyone know what number that is, and

B) What's the chance he ends up with it given the current roster?

thanks,

PS: the reason for this is I want to get my brother a custom UT jersey made with Browns # and his name on the back. It's for his b-day.

Here is the 09 roster with numbers...there is already a #11...but I doubt Brown will have any problems getting it, if that is the one he wants

I know this is off topic but it's funny how numbers, according to position, have changed over the years. When I played in high school (mid 80's) there were very defined sequences of numbers according to position.

I remember when I played in high school every defensive lineman wanted to have 70, 75, 72, 77, etc. Now they all seem to be in the 90's.

Every half back wanted 32, 33, or 34 and all full backs were in the 40's. Now it's everything from single digits on into the 40's.

Every linebacker wanted 50, 52, 54, 55, etc. Now It's everything from single digits into the 90's.

When I played the only players with single digit numbers were punters and kickers. Now I see them on LB's, QB,s WR's, and RB's.

he can have #5 if he wants as long as he and McCoy are not on the field at the same tim (special teams or something)

I didn't realize BB cared about jersey numbers. I know it was a big deal for Orson Charles, but I haven't heard of BB making any number request.

:lolabove: "Hand-off goes......where is he...where did he go....Is that him in the endzone??!!? HOLY MOLY I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!

Unfortunately, we will have to listen to Kessling make that call. Is there enough in the slush fund to dig John Ward back up?
