I know this is off topic but it's funny how numbers, according to position, have changed over the years. When I played in high school (mid 80's) there were very defined sequences of numbers according to position.
I remember when I played in high school every defensive lineman wanted to have 70, 75, 72, 77, etc. Now they all seem to be in the 90's.
Every half back wanted 32, 33, or 34 and all full backs were in the 40's. Now it's everything from single digits on into the 40's.
Every linebacker wanted 50, 52, 54, 55, etc. Now It's everything from single digits into the 90's.
When I played the only players with single digit numbers were punters and kickers. Now I see them on LB's, QB,s WR's, and RB's.
