From the looks of it, NO Tennessee coaches have even talked to him or recruited him...
Get the Kiffin's and coach O on the plane NOW and talk to this guy!!

Wrongo!!!....we are selling us as USC west. and Kiffin told him we would build our O around him. Gran being on board helps IMO.

You do know that Tennessee is in the eastern part of the U.S. correct?

He does have somewhat of a point. If you leave Los Angeles and head west...eventually you will get to Tennessee. Just a small detour though...

How will this affect Oku's commitment? Is he still solid?

He is solid. He never wavered from his commit when Giles was coming, and I doubt he would even if Brown decided to come.

It's still a longshot though of Brown coming here IMO

We dont need Bryce Brown!
And Trent Richardson is making a visit at the end of the month he is the #2 RB they are both badass, so why waste time going after the number one who we have not even talked with when the #2 is making a visit?

I think we need to be going after dominating DT and O-Lineman and WR's
And maybe even a QB this year! forget about all the Running Backs! We have a whole shed full on the team right now and with whats already coming in!

watch his videos.

New Vols coach Lane Kiffin is selling Tennessee as "USC East" and wants to build his offense around Brown.

This was a piece out of SI.com.

Well it's either building the offense around a bad-a RB recruit, or building it around one of our QB's from last year... not too difficult of a choice.

Glad that Oku is still solid. Getting Brown would be icing on the cake.

On the receruiting board there is talk of Oku visiting UNC. I still think he is solid, but all the hype of possibly getting two guys that are perceived as better than him has given Oku reason to look around to make sure we are where he should be.

While technically alot of your information miay be correct, you always want to bring in the #1 overall player. Have you seen this kid's highlights? He looks unbelievable in my opinion. Some are comparing him to Reggie Bush although I think that's more than a stretch at this point. He's explosive as hell! And bringing in the #1 overall prospect or at least getting serious interest with a coaching staff that has been in place for around a month would send a message across the nation! Don't f#$% with TN they are back!!

The more reliable posters on Rivals are all saying that is just simply not true. That rumor doesn't seem to have legs...I'm not buying it. I think Oku can't wait to be a part of something special here at TN.

So solid that he is now visiting UNC? Solid commits don't take official visits to North Carolina. :nono:

I am not going to freak out about it, but I think there is cause for concern.

players should take all of their visits IMO. Those who don't are shorting themselves of a great experience

It happens all the time. He may get there and absolutely fall in love...but most high school coaches and parents tell these kids to go on these trips to make sure their first inclination is where they wanna be.

I think he's going just for a free weekend getaway, and probably will get to see a UNC bball game. Not a bad idea. (Not sure on the bball game, don't have their schedule in front of me)

I think this guy is mixture of Adrian Peterson and Reggie Bush if there ever was one. He should be at the top of our recruiting priority list, maybe after only Marlon Brown.

I think we need this guy more as a statement in the recruiting world than as a player.
