Good comments from Brown on Kiffin....Glad the players like him....That's all we need to be worrying about!

I think Tennessee is at least in the top 2 or 3 schools provided his quote is sincere.

Wow... great offensive mind... I LOVE the sound of that... we haven't heard that since Coach Cut left. Even if this guy goes elsewhere... I like that top prospects on the offensive side respect our coaches.

This is a good Read. I Hope He Is Ready To Comit To The Big Orange. Do You Think Miami Is Really Pulling Out Or Are They Just Trying To Get Him To Comit Now.I'm Sure It Is Hard On Him Trying To Decide Where To Go. Myself I Would Just Want To Run Through The T Thath Would Rock! Tennesse Should Run a Ebay Auction For A Chance To Run Through The T!What Would You Bid?:rock2:

I can see the trouble now.. We get put on probation because Butler is talking to agents about NFL contracts while Bryce is still in college.. Thats a major violation right?

He seems like he'd be a distraction thats all. Who the hell is he anyway? A family friend or his secret agent? Either way it doesn't sound good, it sounds cancerous.

I think Kiffin and Co. have done everything in their power to date in order to land Brown, and I hope that their efforts are successful, but my gut tells me that he goes elsewhere. I think UT would be a great place for him to end up, but I just have a bad feeling about his final decision.

I agree... where there's smoke, there's usually fire. This Butler cat is just riding his meal ticket... and doesn't give a dang about any university that Bryce might pick.

As to Butler and Brown...probably not a good combination especially if he follows him to Rocky Top or where ever. I can't remember where I read the article about their connection, but Brown's high school coach was bitter as he felt it hurt his team. Apparently this Butler fellow is like a mentor of some sort who also runs football camps, sort of like AAU basketball coaches...who at times have more influence on a kid than their HS coach, and some are highly resented as well as ?? characters.
As much as I would like to see this talent come to Knoxville, I do not want the excess baggage of Mr. Butler, and I get the feeling that connection will not be severed easily.

Butler is definitely shady. Anytime a "mentor" wants to be on screen at the same time as the athlete should be a red flag. He wants press and he wants some of the spotlight. His interests extend beyond Brown's well being.

The whole situation with Butler and Brown makes me think of the OJ Mayo crap with his "advisor" at the end of last basketball season.
