Hubbs is squashing the Douglas and Brown rumors as fast as he can. Some notes from Hubbs:

- there has been no indication that Bryce is going anywhere

- it has been confirmed that Brown has attended all workouts and will be going through Spring practice

- Bryce was around the complex Saturday helping with the Junior Day activities

Dude is a Vol.

LV, good work bringing this info over here to help stop the mass hysteria.

Ready for Spring Practice to start!

I would guess about 1 out of every 50 "rumored" transfers actually do leave, and 99.99% of the time it is a guy who is getting no snaps.

I'd say odds are these rumors are false.

You lose guys because they flunk out of school or get kicked off the team for failing drug tests - period.

Yep, for guys getting PT transferring and sitting out a year is a bitter pill to swallow. That's why the JJ and BB rumors are so tough to believe. If they both perform well they could go pro in 2 years so why do they want to spend one of them sitting on the bench?

Exactly or you lose them to the occasional midnight robbery attempt with a pellet gun at pilot. Not only was it bad for the team and the university but those guys trying to rob someone will a pellet gun and then get away in a powder blue prius hybrid killed K-town's street cred .

It never ends up falling, does it?

No. It does fall sometimes. SMU. Notre Dame. Harvard. Yale. Yeah, harvard and Yale used to dominate football before all of our grandfathers were even born.

Point is, it can fall if your school has their entrance reqs too high (Notre Dame) or they get the death penalty (SMU). But here at TN, we have SEC money, near Ga to recruit, and have normal entrance reqs (minus the idiotic math req) which will always allow us to repeat.

With that said, to insure that the sky never does fall, Hmailton needs fired.

On the contrary, I would say he has kept the sky up for the most part...

some people just don't like Mike Hamilton, and they still believe we tried to hire David Cutcliffe...

I haven't been on in a while but could have squashed this. Bryce comes into the restaurant I work at almost every Tue and Wed to eat and sits in my section. He will be and always has been all Vol.

Didnt think Bryce was going anywhere anyway. I know Kiffin is pretty much why he came here but unless its a family situtation or just an all out fall out with a coach, why would someone with crazy talent give up a year of eligibility? Good info anyway, thanks L.V
