Will Bryce Brown return to play (be listed on a gameday roster) for Tennessee?

Not sure. But the meeting will be held on the back of a unicorn.

No one knows.....its all mumbo jumbo made up crap until Dooley has an actual meeting.

That figures. I've been pretty patient, but I'm ready to find out what Brown is doing. I'd like to see him ALL Vol. I still think he can become on of the great ones at UT if he just stays and plays.

I believe someone at ESPN said that Bryce could thrive in Dooley's system. But I'm not too familiar with "Dooley's system".

I just don't know anyone that goes home for this amount of time, is around his family and friends, and doesn't come back wanting to leave. Too much time to sit and think about it with people back home who apparently wanted him to go elsewhere than UT in the first place. Even Dooley is quoted saying that he expects him to ask for a release.

I REALLY hope that I am wrong, however. Like him or not, we need him. I hope he has the mindset that he made a life choice and he is going to live with it.

Don't convince yourself he is staying. Coach Dooley has told us repeatedly that he doesn't think he will.

Yep, but one can always hope. I'm not exactly all for wanting someone here who doesn't want to be here 100% and who doesn't respect the University enough to make a decision sooner. But I do understand that it's a tough choice in a young man's life, also counting in all the variables that add up such as Kiffin's departure, lack of depth, etc. However, I'd love to see this beast in a Vol uniform. If it was Lamarcus Choker or someone like that, I'd just release them.

I think the power run game should be right up BB's alley. Maybe he'll wake up and realize this today.

My best guess is that if there hasn't yet been a meeting with Dooley, Brown will fly home today without it taking place.

Basilio is saying that Bryce Brown has pretty much made that decision and it's really up to Dooley and the team now to take him back. Jimmy Hyams is also saying that Bryce wants to be a Vol. So unless their sources are way off, I don't think we're waiting on Bryce Brown to make a decision. We may be waiting for Dooley to tell Bryce what it's going to take to re-join the team. Either way, I don't know why people think there's going to be some sort of formal presser or announcement, because as far as I know nothing like that has ever been officially discussed. It may very well be something that happens quietly and we don't know until the rosters are updated. Hopefully they'll at least answer questions from the media about it once there IS an answer.

This is just a way out there idea. It probably isn't remotely true...but...for the hopeful that think Bryce is staying...

Maybe Bryce is really wanting to stay, and Dooley is making HIM wait, maybe trying to teach him a lesson. Like I said I highly doubt this is true, but just a thought.

A respected poster on Kansas State's forum is saying Bryce Brown has been released.

Hope that's not true.

I won't be surprised

Edit: I went on facebook to send my buddy an email asking him what was going on, and he's changed his profile pic to the KSU logo. Asked him if it was official and if he met with Dooley, and he responded "yep."

I have a feeling it's true, just has taken too long to announce that he's staying. :clapping::clapping:
Now we have Tauren Poole to look forward to, a kid that actually knows he wants to be here and respects our U!:)
