Don't know how anyone can think this is a bad thing. The kid had a pretty good year as a true freshman backing up Montario. He had some great carries and made a lot of catches outta the backfield. Also, wasn't there stories all last year that he was battling injuries and headaches? He and Poole could be a pretty good 2 headed monster! With a thin OL, we need as many great athletes as we can get! I for one hope this is true! GBO!

That's the problem, the whole ESPN radio thing was BS. He didin't do any of the things labled at the beginning of this thread. So therefore, this entire thread is BS.

The most telling thing said by Hyams on the radio was that BB said it was a very difficult decision.

That together with him leaving to go back to Kansas tomorrow tells you he is not coming back to UT.

Good luck, BB, we hardly knew ye.

Either way this goes BB will have to sit out a year, if he comes back then I am pretty sure he will be redshirted this year...he missed all of spring, all summer works out. There is no way he has stayed in excellent health to pick up so quickly. If he leaves I would believe he would have to do the same thing. IMO there is no way he would be able to get into shape in the amount of time to be ready for the season..IMO I believe he knows this and that why he is taking so long, he knows he will have to sit out the season one way or another.

Said it before, say it again. If we get him back then great. If not our team won't be dramatically different. No single running back makes that big of a difference when your OL is as inexperienced as ours. I hope he comes back but we are at best a 6 or 7 win team with or without him.

Missing a few months of workouts would not effect him in any way. Schematically...ehh but then again it isn't like he plays QB.

By the way, he is gone.

Lets end this thread by saying,,,,,BYE BYE BB...now please delete every thread about BB. Let him go play with the babyCats and the next time we see him he will be pumping gas in South Carolina...

Look, the guy is gonna ask for his release. If he were wanting Dooley to let him back on the team then he wouldn't be holding back that info. He would openly say... "Yeah, I want to come back and I'm gonna' meet with Coach tomorrow and ask him for the opportunity to show them that I can be a Volunteer".
By doing that he would be hoping to get support from the Volunteer fans that would speak out and help drive up the sentiment. The only reason I can think of that he doesn't let anything out yet is because he wants to dodge the flak he's gonna get on his way out. He'll ask for his release, get it and then ride out into the sunset.
End of story.

^ EXACTLY!
I also don't wish him luck or ill. I could care less what happens to him when he leaves the Tennessee Football Program.
IMO I think CDD knows what's up, and didn't care to rearrange his schedule today to give a kid a release that doesn't want to be here. Does anyone really think that CDD hasn't heard anything? He said he hasn't met with him, but didn't say a word about any other coaches speaking to him.

As for BB, he has been quoted as saying "it's been a tough decision". Didn't seem to tough when he announced he was coming here because God gave him a sign.

If their are family issues besides his father being a tool bag I apologize, but seriously, some kids leave their parents at 18 knowing they're heading to the Middle East. Don't buy the family is making him go back to Kansas excuse. BB and his never ending streak of concussions is Marshmellow soft.

I'm looking forward to hardnose football players putting on the Orange that wanna be here. People in Kansas should stick to basketball....ahhhh wait a minute, maybe not. (and the walk-on drains a 3)

Good grief...grow up, I hope he does well, wherever he ends up.

how is this not going to affect him, no wieght training, no sprints, no ball drills.. nothing in over 7 months...he would be so far behind everyone else he wouldn't even survive the first practice

what a waste! i wouldn't care now if he was the second coming of reggie white or peyton manning (which he ain't). if he stays--fine, if he doesn't, that's fine too. this program has places to go, with or without him.

I think what has people thinking, along with me, that he will go to KSU because his brother is supposedly going to KSU. If you remember Arthur said if Bryce was to return to Tennessee, then he would be in favor of going back to Miami. Although I never really understood that because he transferred from there, but I dont know. Bryce is a mystery, that's all I can say.

There's no way in Hell Miami would have taken Arthur back.

What do you think he has been doing all this time? Drilling bags of Doritos as if diamonds were at the bottom?

The kid is in peak shape, he has said that he has even lost 10 pounds.

The only thing that he would be behind on is scheme, that and getting back into the good graces of his teammates.
