You people think he is just sitting on his ass? No way, I guarantee he has been working with a personal trainer. He will be in football shape come football season, regardless of where he is. Playing or not.

The more he drags this thing on, the more confidence I have that he just might be in a Vol uniform next year. Despite this ongoing soap opera, I would welcome him back to the team ,because face it, we need all the help we can get.

Yeah, exactly. All of these Vol fans hating on him now, would love to have him back. He is the best RB on our roster (if he stays) and is crucial to this team. If we can establish a ground game it will help out our QB play. Which intern relates to wins.

I dont get the love for Tauren Poole either. He hasn't proven a damn thing, except against 3/4th string scrubs on teams like WKU.

Let me throw a wild theory out there. Does anyone think that maybe he got into some trouble somewhere (i.e. maybe a failed drug test) and rather than be suspended or brought into the public light about it, he decided to "quit"? I know that seems ridiculous but if he is unhappy on the team or unhappy at the school why would he just outright quit and stay enrolled? Why is he not actively seeking another school to transfer to? There doesn't even seem to be any other school talking to or about him. They should all be open to do so since he is not on our roster currently right? I just really think there is something else going on here. What he is doing makes no sense to me. He's not some scrub bench player who couldn't cut it or someone who has zero chance of playing past the college level. I mean we are about a month away from fall semester so what the hell is he doing. Anyone remember the name of the guy who "handled" his recruiting? Has he been openly talking about Bryce?

Any thoughts? If him possibly being in trouble sounds stupid tell me.

Maybe he's tired of playing football, but his rhyming skills aren't up to par with A. Douglass's yet so he's getting them down before they make an album?

Three words I hate to even know I know -- Bryce Brown and Kiffin. Let's make a law that these words are not printed or spoken of again. If Brown hasn't made a decision by now, why would anyone want him on this football team?

I have never read anything about BB being a problem on the team. I would have to say this is in no way true

Kiffin and crew offered him the world, Dooley and crew told him he had to earn it...He left....Good riddance

Who btw Bryce dominated :) I agree, I would take my Bryce in a second based on talent and the good of the program

Bryce is the best RB on the team---99% of vol fans would welcome him back with no questions asked.

I would welcome him back. He has not proven that he's the best RB on the team.

Last year wasn't nearly as impressive as many try to make it. We don't know yet what any of the other 4 will do when they get opportunities.

Some people love Poole. Some people diss Poole.

But no one should deny that he's done good things every chance he's gotten.

I'm just throwing this out there, but he sure did dominate the 3rd string D of WKU...

Justin Hunter just told me on facebook that he will be wearing the #11 jersey number so they gave his jersey away, so no Bryce Brown!

If I recall correctly BB wore numbers to honor different people over the years. I don't think changing numbers would be out of the question.

Nonetheless, I also don't think he is returning.

So whats the latest on Brian Darde....I mean Bryce Brown. Sorry, it feels like this things been dragging on since 1997.

Sounds like even more smoke being billowed out so Brown can be reintroduced at his presser with a new Jersey number to increase merchandise revenue for the school.:eek:lol:

Time for the daily Bryce Brown thread post.

When is the presser?

Seriously, K State fans are just as clueless as we are, and there is no word of him ever applying to school there or joining the team. It is almost too late for him to go to any D1 school but TN.
