I'm sure you have answered this many times, but what's your connection to UT?

long time season ticket holder, middle 70s. have gradually increased number of tickets over time (have 14 in Section B).

over the years gotten to know many staff members within the athletic department and football operations.

In those situations I've gotten to meet coaches, players and families of players. Developed many friendships over the years. Friends I continue to stay in touch with and talk to today.

I live in Nashville but maintain ties to those friends still in Knoxville and the university. Did not got to school there or anywhere else.

Cliff notes version...

I heard that if Bryce goes he won't be staying but if he decides to stay then he won't go. Just a rumor though.

Darling you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
If you say that you are mine
I’ll be here ’til the end of time
So you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

He's no where near football shape right now. Fall practice isn't even on his radar. He will likely need a RS year to get back in football shape. Even then it will probably be at KSU.

If he goes to KSU then he will have to sit out a year. But it is almost to late for that.

He needs to have a press conference to clear this up.

Stay at TN Bryce.

I've wondered if CDD is just giving him time to work out any personal issues. I'm sure, if he comes back, Dooley will want his full attention and if he's got stuff to deal with that takes time.

Can BB play DT? :)

He's not some glory-chasing middle aged guy... Big and out of shape though he may be right now, I would think that any college age male who isn't more than a year removed from being in prime physical shape to get back to where he was in a relatively short amount of time. If he works his tail off by the time fall practice starts, he can be in good enough shape to be playing meaningful minutes by mid-season.

Well Bryce brown is not on roster on ncaa 2011 but
that doesn't mean anything.

I have been without a computer for 1 month now. I finally got it back yesterday, I have been trying to keep up with Bryce's "ordeal" but its hard on the phone. I bought NCAA 11 yesterday and Bryce is not on the roster so haS HE OFFICIALLY TRANSFERED? Is he still at UT? Thanks in advance

Bryce Brown may or may not end up doing well in football and playing in the NFL. It all depends on his hip.

His parents did not think UT had a great atmosphere, were frustrated by Kiffin leaving etc. They wanted him home with his brother (who they should never have let go to Miami if they really cared about clean programs) and they may get their wish. Unlike Arthur, Bryce has serious health concerns that may prevent him from becoming a stud RB.

If his hip heals up because he stays off of it, he could be a great one.

He played the season at maybe 85% and was still a solid #2 back as a true freshman.
