Bryce Brown decision (merged)

Will Bryce Brown return to play (be listed on a gameday roster) for Tennessee?

Passing along some info on BB. The guy in the athletic department/admissions says that BB wants to be in Knox and has told coaches (team would accept him); coaches say he would start out #3 rb and would have to earn playing time. The problem in this situation is the family - they are apparently putting a lot of pressure on him to come home and play somewhere in Kansas (assuming KState with brother).

Remember, this doesn't mean he is coming back because, as we all know, pressure from family can be overwhelming. Good luck to BB and I hope to see him finish his college career in Knoxville.

Sorry, thought i posted about him earlier in this thread but it was the Mustain thread. He is a poster on ESPN who has proven he is an insider (works in athletic department). He let out the Da'Rick stuff early as well.

But again, he mainly just explained the situation so don't assume BB is coming back.

This is why you don't bash a kid who isn't drawing attention to himself. You never know what goes on behind closed doors.

Bryce's dad's looking for bigtime playing time for bryce right away which he can get at ksu, which has nothing.

I won't claim to know what BB's dad is up to... but he has enough talent to get big time PT anywhere he decides to land.

If I were in his shoes, I'd stay put unless that hip is going to be a continuing problem. If so, lay out a year, try to bust up the Big12 in '11, then go pro.
