Bryce Brown decision (merged)

Will Bryce Brown return to play (be listed on a gameday roster) for Tennessee?

This is not a knock on MH in any way

Which part did you not intend to be a knock on Hardesty?

The time when you alluded to the fact that he wasn't getting it done, or the time when you thought that Poole should have taken more of his playing time?

That made as much sense as a bullet-riddled sponge.....or as you call it, "a veteran".

Please let Christmas come early and elaborate on such an utterly nonsensical statement.

Do you know what he's actually going through or why he's struggling with the decision?

I was merely stating that BB has a track record of being detrimental to the team's stability. I do not know what is going on with him but I do know we could do without his drama whether it's self imposed drama or not.

What's the track record? He was known as a stand-up kid throughout last year and has a lot of friends on the team. I want him on the team. Dooley apparently wants him on the team. It seems like the rest of the team wants him on the team.

Problem with it all is, his family can't quit meddling in his and Arthur's affairs.

The Poole and BB threads should just be merged they are the same at least on what is being posted.

Having BB would be great, if the team accepts him and he's ready to put the time in. Even if you like Poole better we're better off with BB at UT assuming the first 2 points. We will need healthy substitutes to fight for first downs through an inexperienced line. Those are facts no one should be able to argue. Again assuming he's ready and the team wants him. By all accounts he's welcome at UT by both DD and senior team leaders so it's his move.

Hoping Bryce comes back, but who knows right now... I just dont think right now we have a good back up for Poole. Hopefully Rajion Neal can be big for us this year.

I remember a lot of joy around VN last year when Oku committed with us. Now, it's like he's a drudgeon. Yesterday's jam...

Just an observation.

For the record, I'd love to have Brown back, but you are flat out wrong if you think anyone out worked Poole.

I like both guys and hope both are at UT come August.

The source for comments concerning BB's great work ethic seems to be Kiffin... who I don't really trust very much. He may have the greatest work ethic in the world but Kiffin was too vested in hyping Brown to be considered reliable.

What is your source on Poole's work ethic?

compared to BB, the fact that Poole practiced and worked out this spring shows me his work ethic......

This is a ridiculous statement by a person with zero knowledge. For all you know Bryce Brown could have spent the entire spring and summer working out 24/7. There's a ton of mud slinging in this thread by people that are basically throwing temper tantrums because Bryce Brown isn't making his decision known according to their preferred timetable.
