That guy's post was complete garbage. He couldn't have hit the nail on the head with a sledgehammer.
Yea & you really know what your talking about. It is what it is. Poole is the better back at this point. You must be nuts! Go brush your tooth & go to bed.

Wow... so, I should trust your opinion over Dooley and Kiffin? Interesting. I'm going to guess that my IQ is exponentially higher than yours. Just a hunch.

You must of been Valid Victorian :)- I graduated my HS class with honors & I was voted most athletic. So that tells me I know more than you already.. When did Dooley say Bryce is the best back on this team? Kiffin used Bryce for recruiting purposes. Bryce wasn't quiet ready for the SEC yet. I think Lathers proved that to him in the 1st day with full pads. Look at all the concussions he endured during the season. I'm not knocking Bryce, he could be a good one eventually. Dooley knows Poole is the MAN. If Bryce is on the team or not, come opening day, Poole will be the starter. I bet the farm on that!

So, Kiffin wouldn't play the best players on the team to help him win? Outstanding logic.

Dooley said that Brown was "a lead candidate to start" ... haven't heard him say that about Poole. I'm not knocking Poole, but Brown is incredibly talented. He had a hip injury the entire year last year, played behind a stud RB, and still rushed for nearly 500 yards. I don't think Brown really scratched the surface to his potential.

That may be true about his potential. One thing about it, he better get it together. We have studs in the stable that's hungry & ready to get it done. But whatever, your the Valid Victorian of UT football. So I guess I lose this battle. We will see soon enough. Don't go jumping on the Poole bandwagon when he blows up.

He never said that. He didn't name off every RB on the roster. Get a grip.

Yeah, that was pretty much what he was saying. Then he tried to diffuse it and downgraded Bryce Brown in an unrealistic way.

He has a good point about Kiffin promising the world to Bryce, but remember, many thought that Bryce would get the nod over Hardesty and probably would've had Hardesty not performed absolutely beastly at every opportunity.

Hardesty performed absolutely beastly at every opportunity.

A product of talent, hard work and a good attitude. I hope Bryce is still working out or else he is hindering himself and the university he attends in the fall. Bryce has all the skill a program could want but I'm not so sure about his attitude. Haynesworth is the most talented D-lineman in the NFL but looks where his attitude gets him

I'm just saying that Dooley and Kiffin are both high on the kid for a reason. And, please tell me you're serious with the Valid Victorian comment.

Although I was high on Bryce when we recruited him. I never for one second believed he would beat out Hardesty, unless Hardesty suffered a significant injury. Just because yall was on the Bryce is the best back on the team bandwagon, doesn't mean I was. Imo, Poole should of been #2 last year.

^This..Hardesty was not going to be denied in letting a frosh come in & take what he worked so hard for his entire career. He had the heart, determination, attitude, & work ethic. Once he was healthy, there was no question who the #1 was. Experience goes along way in the SEC. Getting beat out by a frosh would of looked real good for his NFL stock.

I can't believe some people can't see that Bryce seems to be afraid of competition. Kiffin is gone & now he knows he's not going to be handed the starting job. We almost lost a good) in Poole last year because of this favoritism BS. If he don't want to work hard & compete, then his best interest is to move on to KSU. I think Bryce is high character kid, but he needs to toughen up a bit to be a premier back in the SEC. Its all up to him changing his attitude & his will power to work hard for the #1 spot.

No one thought he would beat out Hardesty. And no one on this side of the fence ever argued that he was the best back on the team. Poole was where he needed to be. There was a lot at stake. Brown really was the best back besides Hardesty. Even a 90% Brown is better than Poole.

That's not the case AT all. You must not have been paying attention throughout this whole thing.

Everything started when he decided he wanted to play football with his brother.

Bryce isn't afraid of competition in the least bit. Remember that he committed to Tennessee after David Oku -- another guy who isn't afraid of competition. And he knew that he would have to compete with Hardesty, yet he said in interviews that he planned on being the starting back.

Some of you are seriously overrating Tauren Poole BTW, just because he appears to be our best back at the moment doesn't make him Trent Richardson.

I sure hope BB comes back. If he beats out the others, great. If not, then more depth at RB. It would be just better for the team if he's back, imo. The dude is talented, no doubt.

Which one is it Sab? You said in the previous post many thought Bryce would get the nod over Hardesty...Then you come back & say NO ONE thought he would beat out Hardesty. That's your opinion on 90% Bryce beating out Poole. Yea right, its obvious Bryce does not see the running lanes as good as Poole. Poole has the better instincts and vision at this point. Poole is the real deal, call him over rated if you want. I bet a wager with you that of Bryce will never start in front of Poole, as long as Poole stays healthy. Bryce is a smart kid & sees the writing on the wall. Obviously you don't. I thought you were a GURU & could evaluate talent?? Oku even said, there was a lot of favoritism going with the depth chart. Anyways I'm done with it. Believe what you must. We will all see when the season starts.

Yea I'm serious about it. Just like I'm sure you think Bryce has the best pocket presents of any of our RB's too. Lol
